I wonder how easy Disney is to deal with. They probably aren't. But Lucas Arts has been recalcitrant for so long about letting anyone have the rights to Grim Fandango, ignoring it, more or less pretending it doesn't even exist, that I have some faint hope that GOG will be able to acquire it now. It is at the top of the wish list on GOG.

I would love to see Manny again. Me, too. Not that I don't have Grim and really have very little problem with it since I have the launcher from Quick and Easy Software but it would be wonderful if GOG got the game for those who don't have it and are dying to play it... and made it unnecessary to scrounge for ways to make it play with XP or Win 7. Maybe even Win 8. I hope GOG pounces on Disney and 'makes it so'. Oh, wait, that's Star Trek, not Star Wars. Gil.

There is an interesting petition here. A petition started by Bill Tiller himself? That's interesting.

But LA hasn't been doing anything except Star Wars for a long time though. Not like they were ever going to do a Grim Fandango 2 anyway.
Currently Playing: Adventure Game: Broken Age Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

But no one else was ever allowed to do anything with those great LucasArts titles, either. And one has to wonder if they ever will be, now ??

Remember everyone, all of this was done to "minimize risk for the company." Meaning, they weren't realizing the expected returns for their investments. At least not at the rate they wanted to see.
