Are y'all ready for a new week? 

The best way to get into it is to hold your nose, and count to three, and take the plunge. 

Ah........go ahead and make that a count to five, close your eyes, and then dive right in. 

You know what? It's gonna be ok. Just count to 20, put a toe in and test the water, and then go ahead and slide into it. 

Now that I think of it, we might not want to recklessly rush into it. It IS a Monday after all, so have a seat, put your head back, close your eyes, and your mouth too please, meditate to the song "Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine", have a latte and a bagel, read the morning paper, serf the net a while, and then count to 10 and go back to bed, and we'll pick it up there again tomorrow. 

Since tomorrow is Wednesday there's no need to rush it then either, so we'll just meet back here at....oh about noon or 1:00.

Good morning everyone.

It is 72.5 here and going up to 80 before the rain moves in. I feel so draggy today. Got home later from orchestra last night and couldn't get to sleep. Bill had problem also so we got up and played Avalon Legends for awhile. Went back to bed and we both conked out.

Gonna fix some wraps for lunch, then some tilapia and hush puppies for dinner. Tomorrow, I think I will put on a pot of split peas for soup. Might taste good on a rainy day.

This afternoon, we are going to get our eyes refracted for glasses. That will shoot down part of the afternoon. I went to the grocery store this morning as I did not want to drive in the rain tomorrow.

I'm gonna hunt up a casual game to play, maybe Sudoku. I am sooooo bad at that. Anyone got any hints to help me out?

So it's quiet here so far today. No more police (2 days in row) at the empty house. Waiting for water company to appear and shut off the water. Major fiasco over there all the time. I updated the Sorta's Neighborhood string yesterday. Only change is police were driving around last night 'spotlighting' the house. Like that is really gonna do any good when the thieves know more than anyone about when they can strike. Sigh.

Warmer today, not like Colorado with sub zero freezing. Anyone up there, so awful. Hope you stay warm. Then in New York (my childhood home) it's gonna be 80! Weird weather for sure.

Off to count outdoorsies and wait for my friend so we can go walking.

Doggies and I are back from the park...it was hot hot hot out there, but we enjoyed it. We were not alone....there were 2 other guys out there walking circles with me.

When I got home and started unloading pockets, I noticed my cell phone was missing. As I don't use it other than for emergencies, I wasn't all that worried. Got the dogs settled and then back out to the car to go back to the park to hunt down my phone, but God loves me and thus, it was in the car.

Doggies are all now lying on the floor cooling off. Me thinks we are going to have to start going earlier than my preferred 11 a.m.

Books are cooked, so I'll think I'll do our Bible Study Homework while I cool down.

Actually I've been up a while and got some things done, including laundry, grocery shopping, gluing my broken display case back together, and replacing the glass.

Then I ordered another case. Hopefully I can fill it up soon.

Well been a busy but fun day so far here. The sun is out somewhere above all those clouds but I can't quite see where. they keep talking about chances of rain/snow/mix for the whole week.

Hope not tomorrow as I have to head up by the airport in Duluth to the oral surgeon and those hills of Duluth can be bad in the winter. My granddaughter works up that way and on Sunday morning, after a night of snow, she put her car in Miller Creek on her way to work.

Ana have fun on your walk with the boys and I lhope the T-boomers hold off for ya! May your head feel better soonest!

Hello again everyone.

I've been busy setting up my store-bought arrowheaads back in the case that I repaired.

Then trying to set up the DVD player on the main TV set in the living room.

A lot of things that I had set up, connected, hung, displayed, or arranged before I moved out, have not been re-set up, re-hung, re-connected, re-displayed, or re-arranged since I moved back here.

It's not a matter of procrastination. I just don't care any more. I had things the way I wanted them, and I had take everything down, pack it up, and move it all, through no choice of my own, and I just don't give a darn if it gets put back at all now.

I'm just talking about pictures, a huge mirror, and other stuff like that.

Now today I finally reconnected the DVD player, so my sister can watch The Hobbit movie that I bought.

Don't know why I care about that....

L4L I'm confused too. When you have a Wed. Thur. off, then the next week Mon. Tue. off then Sat. Sun. off, you can lose track real easy, sorry.

Andrea my new laptop is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, and not a minute too soon. I can't game on this one any more because the optic drive does not read or recognize the DVDs, or CDs any more.

I have to get up at 3:30 tomorrow, so I'll be getting to bed suitably early tonight.

Nan, The dogs and I made it out at 4pm. A bit late for me, too many critters about, but we had a great time anyway.

Spent my day watching the Snake at the empty house. He and son boarded up the entire place. Won't know how much more at the sides and back until I take a walk. They spent 3 hours there, about 45 minutes INSIDE the broken into garage probably taking inventory of what they wanted to 'liberate'. Nothing was taken out by them. I watched and took pics just to verify it all.

Still has a listing on the property of SOLD, no details which is weird so we don't know if it's sold or in escrow or was just put in a trust.

Tonight's fun is 'tutoring' my next door neighbor, who adopted his son's kitties. He has no idea how to raise cats, and I'm trying to coach him. Cats look healthy and happy, but he mentioned flea collars. Not a good idea for an outdoor cat. So I mentioned flea drops. Just ordered some for my huge brood of indoorsie and outdoorsies to keep fleas away from everyone even the ferals. I'm going to go over with 2 doses for HIS cats so he won't poison them or risk hanging on collars. Hope he appreciates my efforts. I worry about the critters. They are now coming into my yard more and more. Guess eventually we will share the cats or they will just end up being mine. Sigh.

Hi. I'm just reflecting on my wonderful day today. My sister and her husband stayed overnight with me and left today about 11:00 to go see my Mom. They have a very busy travel schedule to see everyone on the east coast before they have to head home. It was so grreat to have them here. I miss them already. I hope your day was as good as mine. Heading for bed soon. Tomorrow is my day off. I have a car oil change in the morning, then my day is free.

well,yesterday we had so much highwinds ,and sand blowing everywhere that i spent most of the day with hot cloths on my face. today my nose is clogged but at least i don't think my face will fly off and it's going to go below freezing tonight - crazy crazy weather !

tomorrow i get garden soil !the maintenance man stopped by to let me know he got me a few bags today but would unload it for me in the morning ! yippee !i can plant something.
