Something bad happened to Just Adventure several years ago. I used to go there frequently, as it was a complete and functional site, with reviews and walk-thrus of several hundred games.
Due to a stolen computer and subsequent technical problems, I got out of the habit of visiting game sites, even though I continued to play.
After a hiatus of perhaps a year, I went back to Just Adventure and found the site to be completely trashed. It looked nothing like it did before, the format was entirely different, and the walk-thrus had entirely disappeared, and there were only a handful of reviews.
Searching around I found that Randy Slugansky, the site's creator had fallen seriously ill. Apparently the original site was then completely deleted, and the new one constructed. Why this was done, I cannot imagine as the old site was complete and well organized, with reviews, walk-thrus and upcoming games all alphabetacally arranged for easy access, etc.
I re-visited the site several days ago, and while a lot of stuff has been added, it's still disorganized, the reviews seem to be in random order, meaning you have to scroll through pages of titles in the hopes the game you are looking for is there. Also, there are apparently still no walk-thrus.
After this, I googled "Randy Slugansky" in hopes of solving the mystery of what happened to the site, and found that sadly, after a long illness, Slugansky had died.
So all I suppose is that someone else associated with Just Adventure decided to re-do the site. Too bad, because it's pretty useless now.
If anyone has any more info on all this, I'd love to know; I am sure a lot of former fans of the site would as well.
