Hello my friends

Quick flyby. I couldn't come back at the beginning of the week because my Mum had another breakdown and I had to stay close to her. She's doing better now. It's hard for her being without her husband after 60 years of marriage.

Regarding the ceramics in the kiln: only one vase broke in the kiln (glaze was running onto the shelf and stuck there... arrggghhh), the other objects came out pretty good. They have been at the photographers for the last 2 days and I can go get them this evening. Will show you pics coming weekend.

Happy day to you all and a big bear hug!

Evelyne

Good morning boomies! After a week of trying to refuse delivery of my hubby's cold I am willing to accept the fact that he shared with me. I got up early to go to my morning class at the club but instead stayed in bed watching the live coverage in Massachusetts.

I will be in the corner all day, tomorrow I have my niece's bachelorette party so I have to work faster today so I can go.

It's snowing here and I blame Nan! For goodness sake, I am so ready for spring!

I hope you all have a happy day!

Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy

It's rainy and gray and cooler...no walk for us today. Kids will be here later and we have baseball tickets for tonight. Gonna have to bundle...supposed to be in the 40's. EEEEK! So wouldn't have bought tickets if I'd known this weather was coming. Oh well, live and learn (as opposed to die and stay dumb?)

Sitting here sipping and listening to the news.

Joe, rotfl

Darlene, enjoy your day off.

Haroula, wave

Cailyn, coffee, yes! Thank you. So glad to hear Tigger's leg is getting better. What did the vet finally say the problem was?

Gerry, do you know how you hurt your knee? Glad it's getting better.

Connie, woohoooo...so glad you are "wired" again.

Gail, enjoy your lunch. Do you get to see your cousin often?

Evelyne, hugs to you and your mom. I can almost imagine how very difficult it must be for her. I'm looking forward to seeing you latest batch of goodies.

Ana, so sorry you couldn't boot that cold. Take care and hopefully you'll evict it soon.

I just got a call from Donald. He said they are sitting in the truck in front of Scott and Tammy's house. It caught on fire while Tammy and her mom were out shopping. eek It is not livable, but the firemen got the 2 dogs and 4 cats out safely. I just talked to Tammy this morning and all was well. We never know what is in store for us, but no one was hurt which is the most important thing. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Prayers going out Connie; so glad no one or the animals were hurt or lost.

Woke to rain and has been a cooler than normal day.
Seemed a good day to stay in and do housework...go ahead, ask me how much I go done...especially with the computer sitting there and I'm sure it was calling my name.

May all have a relaxing eve and sleepful night.

Oh Connie, that is so awful, but so glad the animals were gotten out and no 2 legged folks were hurt.

I just spent the last hour trying to get a Kirby salesman out of my house. Holy Moly.......Good machine but waaaaaaaaaay too expensive and our goal is to get All the carpet out of the house as soon as we can.

Now I need to sit in a corner and contemplate my navel for awhile. puppy

Thank you for your prayers. This is the second time they have lost their house. The first time was to Hurricane Charley. It took a year to get back into it that time. We are working on a place for the cats. We will try to take them to add to our 2 cats and 3 dogs if necessary. They can take the 2 dogs to the hotel the insurance is putting them up in until they can find a house for them. We are all just very happy no one or no pet was hurt.

Connie I'm so sorry. I'm sending my prayers to them.

Ana are you safe from all the flooding? I hope you're OK.

Still watching my Boston channel about the last brother of the Marathon bombers. He's cornered in a backyard boat in Watertown. Wow. I've never watched news like this. It's all live. We keep hearing gunshot fire. Very scary.

Midgie, I am dry here, no rain today, just steady snow but it melts since it 34 degrees. I heat vents still have about an inch of water in them, but we are used to that when this happens.

I have had the news on live all day too. Are you near there?

Connie, my heart goes out to your son and family. I can't imagine how they must feel.
