For those of you playing the IPad version of Myst and are fans of the comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham you may be interested in this tidbit that Jeff Dunham posted on his FaceBook page today:

Quote:
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!
I now want to show you something that I think is simply nerdily awesome...

Back in the early 90's, another comic friend and I became obsessed with the computer game, "MYST". We would play it sometimes until the wee hours of the morning after comedy club gigs on the road. It was and still is my fav game of all time.

A little over a year ago, I met one of the two brothers, Rand Miller, who created and starred in the game. After I let him know what a huge fan I was of MYST, and the fact that for 20 years I have, and still to this day drink morning coffee when at home ONLY out of my MYST coffee cup, he and the folks at Cyan put an Easter Egg in the current version of MYST for the iPad...

Achenar was one of the two bad guys in the game, and from some of the decor in one of his rooms, you might suspect he's a fan of skulls. Well, if you find the Easter Egg in the game, you'll also realize he's a fan of Achmed! (And moi.)

Here's how you get the Easter Egg in the iPad version of MYST:

- Go to Achenar's room in Stoneship Age
- Set the imager on the chest to the skull (turn on device, slide hidden handle to right)
- Open Drawer 4
- Close Drawer 4
- Open Drawer 6
- Open Drawer 2
- Close Drawer 6
- Close Drawer 2
- Open the bottom drawer.

TA DAAAAA!
There's something from Achmed to Achenar in the drawer!

Thanks for reading my geek-tweet!... And thanks again for ALL the great birthday wishes! See you on the road!

jd

Happy Gaming!

I didn't know there was a Myst coffee mug or I'd have bought one long ago. The closest I could find are mugs for Riven, though I don't know anything about the website.
http://darkeadventures.co.uk/mugs.html

But they're not like the ***original Myst mug*** where the design wraps around the mug.
