Hollywood Squares:

These great questions and answers are from the days when ' Hollywood Squares' game show responses were spontaneous, not scripted, as they are now. Peter Marshall was the host asking the questions, of course...

Q.. Paul, what is a good reason for pounding meat?

A. Paul Lynde: Loneliness!

(The audience laughed so long and so hard it took up almost 15 minutes of the show!)

Q. Do female frogs croak?

A. Paul Lynde: If you hold their little heads under water long enough.

Q. If you're going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should you be?

A. Charley Weaver: Three days of steady drinking should do it.

Q. True or False, a pea can last as long as 5,000 years.

A. George Gobel: Boy, it sure seems that way sometimes.

Q. You've been having trouble going to sleep. Are you probably a man or a woman?

A.. Don Knotts: That's what's been keeping me awake.

Q. According to Cosmopolitan, if you meet a stranger at a party and you think that he is attractive, is it okay to come out and ask him if he's married?

A.. Rose Marie: No wait until morning.

Q. Which of your five senses tends to diminish as you get older?

A. Charley Weaver: My sense of decency.

Q. In Hawaiian, does it take more than three words to say 'I Love You'?

A. Vincent Price: No, you can say it with a pineapple and a twenty.

Q. What are 'Do It,' 'I Can Help,' and 'I Can't Get Enough'?

A. George Gobel: I don't know, but it's coming from the next apartment.

Q. As you grow older, do you tend to gesture more or less with your hands while talking?

A. Rose Marie: You ask me one more growing old question Peter, and I'll give you a gesture you'll never forget.

Q. Paul, why do Hell's Angels wear leather?

A. Paul Lynde: Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.

Q.. Charley, you've just decided to grow strawberries. Are you going to get any during the first year?

A.. Charley Weaver: Of course not, I'm too busy growing strawberries.

Q. In bowling, what's a perfect score?

A. Rose Marie: Ralph, the pin boy.

Q. It is considered in bad taste to discuss two subjects at nudist camps.. One is politics, what is the other?

A. Paul Lynde: Tape measures.

Q. During a tornado, are you safer in the bedroom or in the closet?

A. Rose Marie: Unfortunately Peter, I'm always safe in the bedroom.

Q. Can boys join the Camp Fire Girls?

A.. Marty Allen: Only after lights out.

Q. When you pat a dog on its head he will wag his tail. What will a goose do?

A. Paul Lynde: Make him bark?

Q. If you were pregnant for two years, what would you give birth to?

A. Paul Lynde: Whatever it is, it would never be afraid of the dark.

Q. According to Ann Landers, is there anything wrong with getting into the habit of kissing a lot of people?

A. Charley Weaver: It got me out of the army.

Q. It is the most abused and neglected part of your body, what is it?

A. Paul Lynde: Mine may be abused, but it certainly isn't neglected.

Q. Back in the old days, when Great Grandpa put horseradish on his head, what was he trying to do?

A. George Gobel: Get it in his mouth.

Q. Who stays pregnant for a longer period of time, your wife or your elephant?

A. Paul Lynde: Who told you about my elephant?

Q. When a couple have a baby, who is responsible for its sex?

A.. Charley Weaver: I'll lend him the car, the rest is up to him.

Q. Jackie Gleason recently revealed that he firmly believes in them and has actually seen them on at least two occasions. What are they?

A. Charley Weaver: His feet.

Q.. According to Ann Landers, what are two things you should never do in bed?

A. Paul Lynde: Point and laugh.

Good morning Joe, Haroula, Sue and everyboomer coming in after me... wave

blush Thank you bunches for your kind words about my works. I'am glad you like it and it's good to see that everybody has another favorite.

Sorta: I seldom do glaze works. It's an exception that I'am doing it now for the coming exhibition. If you could take a pic of the plate you talked about, I would appreciate it very much. Always willing to learn new styles.

Ana: did you go to the party with a cold??

Nan: I postpone my visit to Duluth until temps are a bit higher in your region.... lol

L4L: so glad you found shoes that allow you to walk without pain in your legs and hips! Keep going girl!

I just got an invitation to participate in a group exhibition in France (Vallauris). WooHooooooo dance . Exhibition will be from July 6th to August 14th and I will be there in person during the first week of the exhibition. Vallauris is approx. 2 car hours from where we live in Italy. So after closing my own exhibition here in Switzerland on June 23, hubby and I will drive to Italy and, beginning of July, to France. All that's missing in my CV now is an exhibition in the USA... yes

Weather here is lousy. Wind and rain and temps in the 44F. Weatherforecast says it should get better mid of next week. Let's hope he is right about that.

I'am wishing you all a happy Sunday. Hugs and love from

Evelyne

Good "moaning" everybody. wave

I didn't get to sleep in. Pepper can always tell when the sun is up, and starts crowing like a rooster. lol

I feel like hell with a hangover. tired

I've had sinus allergy problems that has gone to my chest. Now I have a bad cough. sick

Yesterday I decided to quit my job.

I won't, of course, but I was scheduled from 2:00 to 11:00, and I quit working at almost 11:45 because I could have worked all night and not finished cleaning my department. rolleyes

When I was off last week they were very short staffed in the department, and you could really tell it.

Right now we are about the busiest department in the store, along with outside lawn and garden. shocked

Last month I was #1 in the whole region in mower sales. bravo

It's not accurate because everyone in the department put their sales under my employee number to inflate my sales figures. lol

I get all the glory.

I hope everybody here has a super day.

joe

Super Sunday ya'll puppy

Talked with Daughter this morning. She was just coming from finishing a 5k run for Child Hunger. I asked her about her foot and she said it hurt a little. Think I will give her an early b'day present and put money in her account for new shoes.

Hubby and I are going to see Around the World in 80 Days in play form today. We've seen the movie, and I've read the book. It will be interesting to see how they do it.

Joe, has Pepper always crowed in the mornings?

Haroula, have a wonderful day?

Cailyn, are you ready for a rest? Is Tigger still improving? How did she hurt her knee? I got new sneakers....Brooks Ghost 5. They were the first ones the girl got out for me to try and they felt heavenly. She got several others out and I tried them all, but all the others hurt one foot or the other. I also got compression hose which supposedly help with shin splints. We shall see.

Gimli, grats! That is super. Will you do all new work for the next show?

Venus, have a great day at work!

Bob, hope you slept great. Sounds like you like my hours.

Gerry, have a great day. Are you feeling better?

Connie, nice of you to cook for us when you are going out.

Quest, how are you spending your day?

Ana, hugs and I'm putting some zinc in the corner for you. Feel better soonest.
