Dog Applicant

A sign was hung in an office window. It read:

Help wanted.
Must type 70 words a minute.
Must be computer literate.
Must be bilingual.
An equal opportunity employer.

A dog was ambling down the street and saw the sign. He looked at it for a moment, pulled it down with his mouth, and walked into the manager's office, making it clear he wished to apply for the job.

The office manager laughed and said, "I can't hire a dog for this job."

The dog pointed to the line: "An equal opportunity employer."

So the manager said, "OK, take this letter and type it." The dog went off to the word processor and returned a minute later with the finished letter, perfectly formatted.

The manager said, "Alright, here's a problem. Write a computer program for it and run it."

Fifteen minutes later, the dog came back with the correct answer.

The manager still wasn't convinced. "I still can't hire you for this position. You've got to be bilingual."

The dog looked up at the manager and said, "Meow."

The Hotel Bill

An elderly lady decided to give herself a big treat for her significant birthday by staying overnight in one of Chicago 's most expensive hotel.
When she checked out next morning, the desk clerk handed her a bill for $250.00.
She exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high. "It's a nice hotel but the rooms certainly aren't worth $250.00 for just an overnight stop without even breakfast."
The clerk told her that $250.00 is the 'standard rate' so she insisted on speaking to the Manager.
The Manager appeared and forewarned by the desk clerk announced: "the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center which are available for use."
''But I didn't use them," she said.
''Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the Manager.
He went on to explain that she could also have seen one of the in-hotel shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best entertainers from New York , Los Angeles , and Las Vegas performing here," the Manager said.
"But I didn't go to any of those shows," she said.
Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replied.
No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, she replied, "But I didn't use it!"
The Manager was unmoved, so she decided to pay, wrote a check and gave it to the Manager.
The Manager was surprised when he looked at the check. " But madam, this check is only made out for $50.00." '
'That's correct. I charged you $200.00 for sleeping with me," she replied.
"But I didn't!" exclaims the very surprised Manager.
"Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have."

Good morning boomies. When I was ready to go to sleep last night about 12:30 am I looked out my bedroom window to see the full moon and there was a coyote in the street right out front of my house. He was out there just wandering around for about 2-3 minutes (it was garbage night) before he disappeared in the woods across the street. Jeez, they are getting bold!

I will run the dogs in a couple hours and then supposed to go to a 90 minute Zumba-thon tonight if I can get a good chunk of work done.

I hope you all enjoy your day!

Lovely day. Just saw my dentist on an 'emergency'. Bonding on same tooth developed a 'knife edge' on the bottom. He couldn't see it but I sure could fee it. He ground it off and it's much better, but someday, sometime, I need to cap my 4 front teeth. Sigh. We keep putting it off because it will cost more than the down payment on a car. Ugh. And today's 5 minute quick fix cost me 80 bucks! Wow. Now I know what a routing office call costs even if he doesn't do anything. So expensive but he's one of the fairest on charges around.

Off for a walk soon. Glorious weather outside and everything is bright and sunny.

OH, on the Falcons, all FOUR hatched a few days apart and are doing well.
WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy

I slept in, got up, iced my leg and did some shin exercises, geared up everyone, and hit the park. Super nice day out there...70's and not a lot of wind. Then home to change, feed doggies, grab a cup of coffee and am currently icing silly leg again.

Dinner is in the croc pot. Just have to add some last minute stuff at 4. Kids will be here in a bit. Son is working a double, open and then straight through til 9 or 10. I would put the boys to bed around 8 but son asked me to keep them up so he can see them.

So I'm going to sit and sip and chomp some watermelon for a bit before the boys get here. wave

Sorta the longer you wait the more it will cost ya know! Prices arent dropping when it comes to that stuff. Glad he made the tooth better today!

L4l hope the icing does the trick! Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can.

Time to get ready and head out with the ktaxi. Have a wonderful rest of the day everybody!!

Ana hope that project is being kind and moving right along for ya!
