Hi robert,
Is this the first time that you've tried to use the elevator? Or did it break already? (I'm not sure what you have/haven't done so far.) If it broke on an earlier use, then it won't work again until the circuit box is fixed.
Otherwise, this from an older thread:
Go to the elevator. Click on the elevator door to get close. If the elevator door won't open then push the button on the control panel to the right side of the elevator door. You will hear the elevator, then click on the door to the elevator and you should be able to go in.

Good that the lights are on.
Did you do this also:
To reset the elevator, notice the elevator control box on the left side of the circuit breaker box. There is a lever to reset the elevator there. Pull it down.

Hi robert, The pink disk shouldn't go to the top initially. Just to left, then up. So, starting from a fresh board and to get the yellow disk home: Step 1: Pink -- Left, Up Step 2: Blue -- Down, Left, Up Step 3: Yellow -- Down, Left, Up, Left (home) UHS then has the solution for getting the other colours home.
