Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread. -1. At which Ivy League university does the secret society Skull and Bones operate? -4. Before the handsome prince came along, who else climbed up Rapunzel’s hair? -5. Who said, “There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it.” -6. The Oldsmobile Toronado was the first car to offer what safety feature in 1974? -7. Adults have 32 permanent teeth. How many are molars? -8. What beer is synonymous with its unique container, popularly referred to as an “oil can”? -9. What was the nickname of the trial of the Chicago baseball players who confessed to throwing the World Series? -10. Chuo-Dori and Harumi-Dori avenues are two of the main roads cutting through which major Asian shopping district?
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

9. Black Sox Scandal Good list, there are a bunch that are just a bit too obscured by cobwebs.

Doreen, nice try, but you're thinking of the miller's daughter who is never named. Dar, that's very close, but I'm looking for exact. I remember the product fondly. BobH and Haroula, good answers from your mental attics!

1974 seems a bit early but could it be anti-lock brakes?

I could resist no longer and looked it up. I thought of and rejected the idea of air bags. 1974 seems way too early for that.
