my doctor put me on the atkins diet, can any bread do.

Family, I don't use this diet, but doubt just any kind of bread will work. I suspect it is a specific brand or at least, type. Did he not give you any guidelines? Or have you bought the book?

family, generally bread is not part of the plan, but I use Ezekial Sprouted Grain bread because it has a low Glycemic Load.

There are some Lo Carb breads available but not when you are starting out.

You need to go here and read and follow the guide.

There are a lot of rules to follow and the website has it spelled out nicely.

Atkins absolutely works and you can also stay low-fat. The resource Ana posted is great. Good luck, family.

family, just as encouragement, I have a friend who lost a lot of weight on the Atkins Diet several years ago. It really does work. Best of luck!
