Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread.

-1. The American Dialect Society named “truthiness” as its 2005 Word of the Year. What political satirist is credited with popularizing the word?
-2. What 1995 cop drama movie is famous for pairing two Hollywood heavyweights, Pacino and DeNiro?
-3. If it looks like a jellyfish and swims like a jellyfish, it might be an underwater colony of creatures known as… what?
-4. What knobby little tuber, resembling a ginger root, tastes like a cross between a radish and a potato?
-5. During the Civil War, what waste product did the Confederates mine for saltpeter to use to make gunpowder?
-6. Which basketball franchise, with eight years of consecutive NBA championships, holds the longest streak of consecutive championships in United States’ pro sports history?
-7. According to the Bible, whose jealous brothers sold him to a spice caravan?
-8. Whorl, arch, and loop are the three basic patterns for what?
-9. Name the Russian mystic who was shot three times, stabbed, poisoned, clubbed, and finally died by drowning.
-10. What household item has a support wire, mica disc, exhaust tube, ring contact, stem press, and base?

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Hmmmm...smaller than a fire extinguisher huh. The only thing that I can think of that has a support wire is a bra but they don't have exhaust tubes that I know of.
