The letters of the answer to the first part of the clue can be transposed to form the answer of the second half of the clue. If you find the first part of the clue is elusive then switch to the second part and work your way backwards wink

Example: transpose a garment into a tiresome person -> robe - bore

sherlock

= 1. Transpose camel hair fabric into sheep chat
= 2. Transpose summing into a grandparent's son
= 3. Transpose apply into terrible
= 4. Transpose doing into feline
= 5. Transpose stern into overweight
= 6. Transpose bark into make amends for
= 7. Transpose advertisements into unhappiness
= 8. Transpose a color into a social insect
= 9. Transpose a denial into one or more
= 10. Transpose an edible seed into imitate

penguin
