Your in the same spot I'm in Janice. I can't pick up anything on the desk and a squirrel on the sill. Wrote to Playrix and they said they would get back to me. Will let you know how I made out. This is what I wrote

I bought this game and I can't progress any more.. I'm on chapter 6 #126. I cut the chain and have the bulldogs head in my inventory. Tried to pick up the valve handle and the brush from the table but I can't. Never had any trouble up until now. Hope you can help. Really like this game.
Thanks
Richard

Hi, Richard!

Did you hear back from Playrix because I've finally caught up to you and Janice and am stuck in the same spot? The "Hint" button points to whatever is sitting in the window and the Strategy Guide says to pick up items from the desk, but I can't interact with either Is it possible that all 3 of us didn't let the uncle finish whatever he was saying because that's what got me stuck near the beginning in the demo? I used the Mindscape on the area where the uncle was sitting and a picture popped up to cut his chains, but I have already done that.

Will this game come to BFG?

They do get playrix games, so my guess is eventually it will get there.

I'm in the same boat as you are Susan. They won't do anything in the week end. Have to wait until monday. Why don't you e-mail them. The support is in your e-mail. I let uncle finish what he had to say. All three of us must have the same bug in the game.

Hi, Richard!

I was waiting to see if you had received a response before emailing them myself, so I'll do that right now. It's obviously a glitch if 3 of us are stuck in the same spot, so I hope they are able to fix it.

Hi, Richard!

Here is the email I just sent off:

"I purchased the subject game and have run into a glitch in Chapter 6. Page 126 of the "Strategy Guide" says that I should pick up 2 items from the desk, but I cannot interact with the desk. The "Hint" button circles something sitting in the window, but I am unable to interact with that either. I clicked the "Mindscape" over the area where the uncle was sitting and a picture pops up indicating that I should cut his chains. I have already done that and the bulldog's head is in my inventory.

I have been enjoying the game up to this point, but I cannot proceed any further. Is this a glitch, or is there something else that I need to do first?"

I agree that it's a really good game and also hope they can provide a fix. Otherwise, I'll be asking for a refund.

I wrote to Playrix also ... with essentially the same message

Hope we can get a fix ... I'd rather have the game working (there's a bonus game as well) than a refund

Hi, Janice!

I would also like them to resolve the problem because I would like to finish the game but, if they can't, they should refund our money.

yes, that's what I paid for it ... well, with the exchange it was $11.20. I must have got in there right after they changed the price. A bargain for a great game, and a long one

Now if we could just get the fix so we can finish and go on to the bonus game

This is what I got back.

I am sorry that you experience problems with the game. Unfortunately, I cannot share any ideas with you as the game was developed by our partners and we do not have a guide published. Please, try to replay the level and be attentive to all the quests. Please, let me know what exactly happens when you try to take the handle and the brush? Does the game freeze or crash? Do you receive any error messages?

Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Have a good day

Do we replay the game? Should we ask for our money back.
Richard

Hi, Richard!

That's really strange because here is the response I received this morning:

"Thank you for contacting our Support Team. My name is Olga and I am glad to assist you today.

I am sorry that you experience problems with the game. Please send me the screen-shot of the level you experience problems with. What exactly happens when you try to pick up the items? Does the game freeze or crash or just nothing happens?

To make a screen shot, please, do the following:

Run the game and press the Print Screen (PrtScr) button on your keyboard --> stop the program.
Click on Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Paint --> When the program opens, please, press together
Ctrl button + V on your keyboard or right click anywhere in the space of the program and select Paste -->
You will see the screenshot you just took. Please, save it on your hard drive and attach to your reply.

Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions. Have a good day!"

I've never taken a screenshot before but, when I get a few minutes today, I'll print off the instructions and give it a try.

It has to be a glitch in the game if all 3 of us here who are playing the game ran into the same problem.

Susan

Hi Susan and Richard

if you've both sent screen shots, there's probably no point in my sending another

as you said, if they aren't able to help, we should contact the partners... I don't want to give up yet

Hi, Janice!

It wouldn't hurt for you to send a screen shot as well so they can see for themselves that all 3 of us encountered the same glitch.

Thanks for the recommendation, Richard. Looks like a really nice game. Can you tell me the difference between the "Normal" and "Expert" game modes. There wasn't an explanation in the Options set-up.

ETA: Didn't read the above comments re: glitch. Phooey! I really wanted to get this game. Guess I'll wait until I see if there's a resolution.

you're right - better to have more screen shots ... I'll do that
Janice

maybe we should be contacting their partners who seem to know about the game ... do you think we can find them? let's try

Hi, Richard!

I'm having a problem capturing a screen shot of the scene that I'm stuck on.

I click on "Print Screen", close the program and open up "Paint". When I click on the clipboard, the screen shot that appears is my desktop.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Susan

This is the reply I got back from Playrix.
Thank you for the screen-shot, I have already sent it onto the developers. Please, note that it will take some time for the developers to find and fix the problem. Hope that the update will be released soon and you will continue enjoying the game.
Richard
Susan did you attach the screen shot to your e-mail.

Hi, Richard!

That's not a very satisfactory response, is it?

I haven't sent them a screen shot yet because I launch the game (which takes me to the scene where we're stuck), click on "Print Screen", close the program and open up "Paint". When I click on the clipboard, the screen shot that appears is my desktop, not the scene in the game.

here's the response I got:

"It seems that this problem is common among many players and our developers are already working on it. I hope that the problem will be resolved soon. I will let you know as soon as the game is updated.
The ticket will be marked as solved in 96 hours. You can always re-open it by replying to this e-mail."

sounds more encouraging ... I'd asked them for the name of the developers and that we'd be asking for a refund

by the way, Susan, I couldn't get a screen-print either
