Homophones are words that sound the same but are spelled differently. Each question is a clue in the form of a brief story. You give the two word answer in homophones.

-1.Darrin knew that he had to figure out who had placed the hex on Larry. One of the enchantresses in his life had done it. Was it Samantha, Endora, or Serena?

2."Nyet!" "Nein!" "Non!" Rufus could answer in the negative in several languages.

-3.Little known fact about Bambi's mother: She had perfect pitch. If you named a musical key, she could sing the first note of the scale.

-4.Sam was known for his home brewing with hops. So when he died, the casket was placed atop a platform of kegs of his favorite malt beverage.

-5.The climbers were surprised, when they reached the summit of Mt. Everest, to hear their sherpa greet somebody casually in English.

-6.Mrs. Lee strolled downtown to purchase a new pan for her Chinese stir-fry cooking.

-7.James decided to borrow a car for the trip, so he wouldn't have to ride in the same van with everybody else. He by far preferred to be on his own.

-8.The shaman carefully considered the symptoms and the omens. He had to perform the correct ritual in order to heal his patient.

-9.Thomas knew everybody thought his invention was crazy, but he filed for a patent anyway. Surely pilots would love the new gadget, specially designed to suspend a flight suit for storage right there in the building where the airplane was parked.

10.Doctor Grant looked in dismay at the damage the earthquake had done to the paleontology museum. The two magnificent tyrannosaurus skeletons had completely collapsed into piles. Even if the bones themselves were undamaged, it would take months to reassemble the remains of the great beasts.

I change all my passwords to "incorrect". So whenever I forget, it says, "your password is incorrect".

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
