A woman named Shirley was from Beverly Hills. One day, she had a heart attack and was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital. While on the operating table, she had a near-death experience. She saw God and asked, "Is this it?"

God said, "No, you have another 30 to 40 years to live."

Upon her recovery, she decided to stay in the hospital and have collagen shots, cheek implants, a face lift, liposuction and breast augmentation. She even had someone dye her hair. She figured since she had another 30 to 40 years, she might as well make the most of it.

She walked out of Cedars Sinai lobby after the last operation and was killed by an ambulance speeding up to the hospital. She arrived in front of God and said, "I thought you said I had another 30 to 40 years?"

God replied, "Shirley! I'm sorry but I didn't recognize you!"

Jack and Jill were getting married.

Jack was talking to his dad about the marriage when his dad says, "I remember when your mom and I got married. I took off my pants, gave them to her, and told her to put them on."

"I can't wear these," she said.

"Darn right," he said, "I wear the pants in this family, and you'd better remember that."

"I think I'll try that on Jill," Jack said.

He went to Jill, took off his pants, and gave them to her.

"Put these on," he said.

Jill replied, "I can't wear these."

"Darn right. I wear the pants in this family and you'd better remember that," he said.

Then Jill took off her pants, gave them to him, and told him to put them on.

"I can't get in to these," he said.

"Darn right," Jill said. "And if you don't change your attitude you never will!"

I'm in the middle of a movie with a two year old grandnephew crawling up and down, and up and down.......and up and down off the couch and on the couch next to me. hardwall

Wait wait wait. That was in Feb of 2012 when I first posted this one. oops

That kid has graduated kindergarten by now. snicker

Ever get the feeling some of these jokes are recycled? lol

Now you know why you keep having that nagging feeling of deja vu. wink

Recycled laughs.......Hmm. think

Have a happy day everyone.

lol Joe. I think it's very understandable that you can't come up with new jokes everyday. Recycling is good. grin

Are you staying safe in the storms? I see OK is getting hit again. I think you all really must have agitated mother nature.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Friday evening GBers! And welcome to the weekend!
To answer Nan's question, the cats treat him like an alien from outer space. Should've named him R2D2 or Chewbacca maybe(?). He chases them but not far, they just jump up on something and that takes care of it. The younger cats are far more patient than the 2 older ones. He tries to make friends with the seniors, and they hiss loudly at him.
Ah well, back to house training....

Hi all.

This has been a rough week for us but everything is looking up now. Had Susie over here for several days but it is looking good now. Sorry, can't go into it. She is on the way to wellness. Thank God.

Rough night last night. Spent some time in the basement. We lucked out again. Got 1.7 inches of rain. SIL got over 6 over the last few days.

Gotta go do some housecleaning.

Take care everyone.

Bets

Good afternoon boomies! It's a cooler, grayer day here with showers expected but that's okay. My puppies are in the mood to run so I will be taking them to the river. The daily rain is making it hard to go anywhere without getting muddy but that's life with dogs. What's a house without muddy pawprints. puppy

I'll be back soon...gotta run before the rains hit. I hope you all are enjoying the day!

Hello everybody. wave

We had a pretty dark and rainy morning here. It just didn't rain enough in my neck of the woods.

I thought I was supposed to report for work at 10:00am, but as I was sipping on my second cup-o-joe, my department manager called and asked me if I was coming in. lol Oops!

I was supposed to work from 7:00 till 3:00 today. Tomorrow is 10:00 till 7:00.

I made it to work before 8:30, and my manager who was supposed to be there at 5:00 this morning didn't even make it to work until 7:00 because he was hung over. rotfl

Anyway I came home at 4:30, and took Baby to the creek. The problem was the mosquitoes. They almost drained me. sick

How was everybody's day? smile

joe

Joe, you crack me up! I'm glad your manager was late too. lol We have had storms all afternoon.

I ran the dogs at the river and then went for a 2+ mile run. The rest of the day I've been in the corner.

Gee Ana we have had on again off again showers all day too. Glad we got up early and got one mile and a half walk in before the rain. lol

I am Blessed cause Sassy comes in and I take the leash and harness off and she lets me lay her on her back and dry her feet and belly. Being so close to the ground it gets wet. lol

Aw Joe sorry you got your days mixed up. I haven't seen a mosquito yet but then it hasn't been hot enough for them and the ticks yet. lol

Night Space sleep well!

Well I think I shall call it a day also. Night everybody sleep well and pleasant dreams!

sleep
