I try and stick with the organic ones to be safe but I guess it can happen to anything. The frozen ones I don't wash like the fresh ones either.

I almost bought some of those berries on my last trip to CostlyCo. Whew. We now have 10 confirmed cases of Hep A here. All are recovering, some are suing. They said the contamination came from pomegranate seeds from Turkey.

L4L they are in a severe drought in Santa Fe right now. My daughter has desert landscaping - no grass and it is quite lovely!
