I am in the cellar of the cabin in the swamp. Standing in front of the distilling tower when I try using the inventory I get the error message the executable has stopped working and it dumps me out of the game. Has anybody else had this problem and is there a fix for it?

Ah yes, there was a nasty bug in the original release (I had the same issue) - Download the patch below, and you should be good to go.

Louisiana Adventure Patch 1.1

I downloaded the patch but now I do not know what to do with it. I would appreciate any help.

You'll need to unpack the ZIP file and run the executable. If you're running Windows 7, or above, right click the file and select Extract All. Under XP you'll need a software program, such as 7-ZIP to do the same.
