Well, cat on stove or not.....he got pushed aside this AM because I was determined to make a frittata today. And as time passed, the fritt degenerated to vegge stir fry. Let's blame the heat. Anyway the stir when serve with olive oil and vinegar will be OK. My vegge cookbook describes a frittata as an omelet with lotsa ingredients in it, cooked slowly and served upside down. That would be fun. So now I have eaten and kitty is back on the stove. Why would a cat pick such a resting place in this 100+ weather? And they say they are smart.

Gaming news. Finished Halo 1. That last part is a mind bender - for those who've played it -what a ride. Will replay it on normal now. I used to play on normal and difficult but after mean ol' Mr Art it's easy and normal but no complaints.

Sorta, keep your chin up - that family's short term memory is outstanding.

On to sudoku

Hullo Boomers!! All I can say is we have been busy...but not like Ana, she is a work slave. I'm sure it is going to look great when done. Clouds and wind are back this afternoon and a heavy mist is dampening any thoughts of summer, haha. Good for the garden and plants, though. Getting ready to put black out film on bedroom windows so my cave will be complete. Also hanging new curtains to hide the film. I always retreat to the bedroom when I don't feel good and wish I could make it dark. Finally going to have my wish. Lucky hubby is so easy going and doesn't mind. Off I go and Happy Gaming everyone!!! wave

Hey Yankee, is that cat a Siamese? My twins used to sleep on the hot stove right over the pilot light all summer. Never did it in winter. I couldn't figure it out either.

as for the tenants and the lack of communication about maintenance, I just dunno. Everything I've tried has just backfired so far. I really think it's just a family of not too bright people who are nice but can't follow complicated routines. Technical stuff, or preventive stuff just doesn't sink in. At least they aren't deliberately destroying the place. It's spotless inside and out.Guess I have to accept that I will never make them 'toe the line'. I am writing up a 'notice' to all tenants about nothing going down the toilet except toilet paper and see how that flies. Would LOVE to past a huge poster on the wall behind the toilet with a list of no-no's. Ha.

Hi all. Today I found out the results of the CAT scan I had the other day but after reading about Niteowl's post I'm not complaining at all. Niteowl my prayers go out to you. My scan showed a hernia I'll have to get fixed shortly but I'm not too worried about it.

I hope you all had a good day. I had a split shift today again. Lots to do at the Blisses today. Among
them I had to scrub the sun porch to get ready for the furniture to be put back there for the summer. Needless to say I'm very tired today. They had torrential downpours while I was there. I was supposed to cook on the grill but I had to wait until the heavy rain slowed. Boy I'm glad I'm home now. Anybody watching the Bruins hockey game? I wish I knew more about the game so I could understand it better.

I need to get to bed. This old body has had it for the day. Night all. I have the morning off tomorrow.yay

Midgie sleep hearts

Joe, glad you are home and back up on the net.

We had storms too...power popped on and off...not going to reset clocks til I'm sure it's finished.

Off to bed for me. I'm planning a very quiet day tomorrow. Now, if only the universe is listening rotfl

Sweet dreams ya'll sleep

I'm toast...I have been scraping, painting, grouting, scrubbing literally all day. Even skipped SAlsa Funk class. sad Then hubby came home and I felt bad he worked all day and had to stain new lattice he wants to put on the deck so I went out to help him. We got two of the three done and we are finally calling it a day. The mosquito truck came by a few minutes ago and sprayed but I didn't bother to close the windows because my fibromyalgia is in full swing from all the chemicals. There is a reason I usually go green when I clean.

Midgie, I am very glad to hear you "only" have a hernia. I know you were very worried. hearts

Gotta run

happydancefor you ,nan !

midgiekins ,fingers crossed you will get it fixed soon ,and feel better soonest !you work way too hard ,my dear.

to all else ,wow ! sounds like we all had very busy days today - i know my house looks much better , lol partly that was son 's doing ,who came over and put up towel bars ,many shelves ,a clock ,and other little odds and ends, thus enabling a few more boxes to be unpacked ,and some furniture to be moved more conveniently. he has more to do ,but no time till the weekend. i'm good with that - it sure looks more homey.

and now ,melodee calls to tell me she is tired from supervising ,so i'll see you all tomorrow afternoon ! lol

sweet dreams ,all !

catrub sleep
