I received such good advice recently when successfully deleting a dll error message with Microsoft safety scanner, that once more I need help- this time with the annoying "coupon drop down " ads.
Safety scanner did not do the trick this time and neither did anything else that I tried.
I would be grateful for any suggestions-- Regards , Petjo

The first thing to try is to go to Start/control panel. Then click on add/remove programs. Look carefully at the programs in there and look for words like popup, ads, coupon, etc. or anything that doesn't look like a real program that you are using. If you find something, delete it.Make sure you don't delete anything from trusted companies like Microsoft.

It looks to be a browser add-on. See if the following helps out -

The second thing to try is "Superantispyware".Its a free download and works great.
The third thing to try is:
1)click on tools gear in upper right hand corner of IE.
2)click on "Manage Addons
3)Go through all items on left and disable suspicious items on the right.

I love SuperAnitSpyware and it may do the trick for you. If it doesn't, try using the free version of Malwarebytes.

One scan with SuperAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes may not get them all. Make sure you are running deep scans and run them more than once until they don't find anything. Also, for good measure, run a scan with your antivirus software.
