Vienna, AUSTRIA (July 5th 2013) – Nordic Games today revealed the first in-game trailer with audio commentary by KING Art for The Eye Of The Sphinx, the first chapter of The Raven – Legacy of A Master Thief, available to download for PC, MAC, and Linux on July 23rd.

The trailer, narrated by Marco Rosenberg, Executive Producer at King Art, gives an insight into the adventures that can be experienced during the first chapter The Eye Of The Sphinx. Rosenberg explains that the game pays tribute to the classic Agatha Christie crime stories combined with the gangster movies from the 60s and 70s. Split into three chapters, the game offers the unique opportunity to experience the story from two different sides as they get to play the part of both the investigator and the thief.

The daring hunt across Europe is a beautifully animated tale that features more camera shots and character animation than all of King Art’s previous point and click adventures put together. Journeying through thrilling and dense atmospheres with the aim of catching the art burglar -The Raven, players will follow his trademark black feather clues to capture the thief and to protect a legendary sapphire, the "Eye of the Sphinx". The game is full of twists and turns that will have players on the edge of their seats.

For those who just cannot wait for the game’s release, there is currently available a free to play game that describes the back story of the bitter rivalry between The Raven and his pursuer detective Legrand. The Raven – Interactive Graphic Novel, the prequel to The Legacy of a Master Thief, is a unique teaser which is available now as a browser based game, on Google Play and for iOS devices for free.

• To begin the story simply Click here for the browser version.

• If you are on the move, get the Android App on Google™ play here.

OR
• the iOS App on the App store here.

A Season Pass can now be purchased with a 20% saving to allow access to all three chapters of The Raven for just EUR/USD 19.99, £16.79. The offer is available during the pre-order phase and players will be automatically upgraded to the Digital deluxe version. For more information visit: http://raven-game.com/en/preorder/

The first chapter The Eye Of The Sphinx will be available via digital download on various ESD-platforms on July 23rd, with the second and third chapters to be released on August 27th and September 24th respectively.

Thanks Sheriff

I don't understand why the In Game Trailer looks nothing like the screenshots from the game.

My apologies. I accidentally put the free graphic novel link where the trailer was. oops

I fixed it.

Hmmm...is that sorta like Baseball where 30% is considered a great year?

After watching the video, which by the way looks interesting,....The Adventure Company??? I thought they weren't around any more.

Looks great. Oooooooh... a train ride & a sea cruise! Thanks Ana.

Nice immersive graphics; love the look of the early 20th-century environment. I didn't see any 1960s or 1970s gangster-movie influence in the Trailer as much as I did the '30s & '40s. But it's hard to really tell, though, without actually playing.
