Quote:

A great myth has enduring power… no matter where the story comes from. In this first game in the exciting new Myths of the World series, your story begins as a Chinese healer who’s brought to the Imperial City to save the Emperor’s son. But you uncover a devious plot and end up having to save yourself! Throughout the game, you’ll use your herbal kit to concoct powerful potions to summon spirits and heal the people you meet. There are also collectible cranes hidden everywhere, and achievements to earn as you play.

This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won’t find in the standard version. As a bonus, Collector's Edition purchases count toward three stamps on your Monthly Game Club Punch Card!

The Collector’s Edition includes:
Play the bonus game to track down Master Lei once and for all
Use the integrated Strategy Guide
Play three bonus hidden-object puzzles
Replay hidden-object puzzles and mini-games from the game

Thanks, Ana. The developer is Eipix, whose other titles include Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen and Off the Record: Linden Shades. I'm looking forward to trying the demo. wave

Just wanted my fellow boomers to know, this is a great game. Finally - something fun, interesting and not ghostly for a change!

Have played so many dark games, this one is refreshing. Graphics are clear, story line is interesting and the HO's are interactive too! wave

I was fortunate enough to beta this game.
When it came out, did not hesitate to buy.
The graphics are beautiful and the setting in the Orient is different from the usual games. The storyline is good and it does have achievements. Despite what I thought was my diligence, I did not get all the Cranes. I would highly recommend to give this game a try.

Great game but had to quit after chapter 4 and put it aside for awhile, why, well unfortunately in the Options menu there is no way to adjust the Environment volume to "Preferably = OFF" and the Annoying Owl Hoot Rears it's ugly head/sound and is pretty much prevalent though out the game, so when one uses headphones at night it is even more disturbing, but that is just me and I've already made a rant on that so I will stop here.

Will keep this game for daytime playing with out the Headphones and probably Mute the sound completely.

4 stars out 5 and yes, I would recommend this game.

Oh my gosh! I love these developers, seriously; I would love to work with those guys. I enjoyed the game, but was tiring of all the HOGs. It was not until I finished the main game and was checking the achievements that I saw an award for mah-jong. Mah-jong! I don't remember any mah-jong! The player has the choice to play mah-jong instead of the HOs; I love mah-jong (slap on head)! Eipix, you definately have a fan here bravo
