Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish them. Unknown

****************

For those that are not aware, Joe's mom passed away in her sleep and he is taking a few days off. He sends his love to all of you. hearts

I feel rather awkward posting jokes at the moment, so I will keep it simple with some quotes.

**************

1. “I have never in my life learned anything from any man who agreed with me.” - Dudley Field Malone

2. “If the facts don’t fit the theory, change the facts.” - Albert Einstein

3. “The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” - Bill Copeland

4. “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” - George Eliot

5. “All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney

6. “Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.” - Eleanor Roosevelt

7. “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” - Milton Berle

8. ”An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.” - M.K. Gandhi

9. ”Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” - John F. Kennedy

10. ”I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” - Thomas Edison

11. ”It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” - Aristotle

14. ”Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” - Sun-Tzu

15. ”Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” - Albert Einstein

16. ”Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.” - Benjamin Franklin

17. ”Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon ‘em.” - William Shakespeare

18. ”That which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

Please come in, sit down, share some laughs and maybe a group hug.

Nan, hope the sun shines soon for you!

It's a good few degrees cooler here today but still nice and sunny so I've been making up for lost time on the housework front!

Have a great day guys!

Super Sunday ya'll puppy

I wimped out on hubby this morning when he tried to get me up. So today is a day of rest. Slept in and when I came down, grabbed my new baking book and sat in the kitchen to read it. It's big and heavy, so needed to have island support. So fun to read and so much stuff that I didn't know. I'm a self taught baker (my mom was a great cook but never baked) and I love to learn new stuff. However, I got so absorbed in it that the time got away from me.

Son is at work and hubby and I will soon be leaving for our Johnny Cash play, which is the last play of this season. My mom loved Johnny Cash (so I'm familar with his songs) and I'm looking forward to experiencing this. If we have time, we will grab some groceries on the way home.

Last night we watched Parker. Tis a bit violent but on the whole, we enjoyed it.

Hugs Joe, and thanks Ana for opening for us. I love the quote!

Boys will be here when we get back tonight.

Ya'll have a great afternoon wave

Mary, I am glad you are having a bit cooler weather now. Enjoy!

L4L, have fun at the play.

I finished Insanity class, refueled with some Bison, veggies and an orange and now I am going to take the dogs swimming. After that I will have to buckle down and work.

We enjoyed the play immensely. It was the first time this year we've seen the place nearly full. Then we made a quick run through the grocery store. Then home to unload and cook. Kitchen is now cleaned, dogs are fed, son and boys off to a friends house, tomorrow's food slotted. Now time to sit for a sec and then go to sleep. 5:30 comes way too early for me. wave
