I bought Tales of Monkey Island yesterday for 5.24 (the 5 episode bundle). I see it's gone up to 17.59 today, but still on sale at 50% off.
I also bought Back to the Future for 3.74 yesterday, and it's up in price today too, but still 50% off.
Some of the deals last more than one day; others just a day.

If you enjoyed the movies you will love this game. My sons were mad about the Back to the Future series. Me too. When we all get together these days, we often watch a show for "old times sake." I've seen the movies so many times, I think I have all the dialogue memorized! When I saw this game and realized it wasn't an arcade game, but more of an adventure, I decided I had to have it. Thanks for the info. Doc Brown is an all time favorite character for sure. Glad to hear it's fun to play. I guess since I'm a fan, I can forgive some shortcomings in the game. I think it'll bring to mind some good times.

Thanks for the heads up Winfrey I have several of these that I already found on sale but I did buy Anachronox, a terrific oldie RPG that I've wanted to replay. Now, for the time to play them all!?

I thought I'd just slip this in here for those who have played the disk versions of Dracula Resurrection and Sanctuary and were beyond frustrated over the problem at the beginning of Resurrection. GOG has both, plus Path of the Dragon, for $9.99. If you choose, you can get them 'free' with Dracula 4 until July 15th, which I didn't. I paid for the ones I wanted. Here's the thing, though. The opening scenes of Resurrection play beautifully on my Windows 7, 64 bit!!! - - (Is that enough excitement?) I could haved cried for joy when my trust in GOG proved so well founded since I've had the devil of a time understanding a word of what the innkeeper, the old man or one of the thugs said at the beginning until now; some sort of glitch made it next to impossible to talk to them, but no more! The GOG version doesn't install full screen; there are wide black bars on the sides but the screen area is ample and you forget about those bars in seconds. It's just wonderful to be able to replay these games and have them work flawlessly! (Well, so far. But I never had a problem after the opening sequences at the inn so I really don't expect one now.) YES!! That's exactly what I'm talking about, Uncle Reg! I started Resurrection again just now to be sure it wasn't a one time thing and, once again, I talked to that lovely innkeeper, the old man and the thug without the first stutter! That said, I am playing on Win 7 Pro, 64 bit, so I don't know how it will do on XP or Vista but I'll bet it's fine.

No problem, Uncle Reg. There's no telling how many people were put off playing Resurrection because of that initial stuttering which didn't even occur after the first part of the game. You'd think after making a game which is really a lot of fun to play and very good looking that the publisher/developer/whoever would have jumped on making a fix. All these years later, GOG does it. I like GOG better all the time. Gil.
