Hi everyone. I'm out of town and playing Skyrim on my laptop and it seems to be working fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to open the door to the keep at Helgen. Ralof keeps telling me to open it, but my hands are still tied, plus no matter what button I push I can't seem to open the door. I'd love to have someone's help w/ this---I've been wanting to play this "on the road" so to speak, and I'm so excited that it's working so I'm eager to get this little thing fixed so I can get deep into the game again. smile

Thanks so much!
Tracy

Never thought of that the door just always opened for me. Maybe Ralof opens it. I just walked to the door and it either opened or I got the indicator to hit my action button. Try just walking into the door and see what happens?

Ralof or Hadvar will open the door for you. Are you at the correct door? I can't quite remember the layout of Helgen as I was in a panic not to lose whom I was following but whomever you chose to follow will open the door for you. luck
