Another day in the 90's here. I am loving it! I was born to live on a tropical island. Chicago was an error. I took a bike ride yesterday and these people were doing a photo shoot in the park and they were melting. They stopped me to ask how I can ride in the heat and not even sweat. I didn't know how to answer them. I don't know. Insanity class tonight and Sam is coming with. It's her first one so it will be interesting. I hope you all have a wonderful day! Joe Ana

Good morning everybody. I had to come in and thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for all of your thoughts and prayers. My family and I appreciate it so much. The burial service is not until tomorrow. The house will be full of relatives of all ages today. It's been very nice to spend time with all of my brothers and sisters. There are six of us. I want to thank my guardian angel Ana especially. Thank you Ana for everything you've done for me. Thanks again everyone. Have a happy day. joe

Good morning Boomers Joe: it's so good to see you (and your avatar) again. I will think of you tomorrow and pray for strength. 5 siblings, that's great! What a big family. Hugs and much love to you ! Ana: thank you for opening the Diner. You don't sweat when riding in the heat? Hmmm... since you don't know how you are doing it, you can't tell me how one can stop the sweat. Too bad. I'am in need of a good tip or trick. Happy dancing ! Nan and L4L: thank you for asking: yes, my head is much better. BQ was delicious yesterday evening, and there was rumbling in the sky, but no storm and no rain. How was your BBQ Nan? How is Keoki doing L4L? Hi to Haroula and Sue and Gerry and Connie and Gail and to all who follow. Temps still hot hot hot during the day, but in the night a fresh wind is blowing. You can sleep better like that. Humidity is very high though. Cool day to all of you. Evelyne

Aw Joe, feeling your sadness, but thank goodness you have a big family to support each other. Glad to see you back in the Diner.
New family that moved in across and down a few houses is confusing. Only one car stays the night, one younger guy seen coming and going. During the day, female and a kid or two, but nobody stays but the one guy. Not sure what the deal is or who really will be living there. No real 'action' like moving stuff or doing anything there after all the short trips with belongings, which didn't seem to be big stuff, no couches, tables, chairs, no TV, etc. Mystery to be solved.
WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Wonderful Wednesday ya'll It's hot hot hot! And it seems that is not exclusive to AL. Son is at work until 1 or 2 this morning. Hubby is at work and mom has picked up the boys so the house is fairly quiet. Hubby and I "snuck" out of the bedroom early to take the 3 mobile ones to the park. It was already hot. We are only getting down to the 80's at night so we start the day hot. We had a good walk but it felt so wrong to be missing Keoki. We left the park a little earlier than normal so hubby would have time to carry Keoki down stairs and outside while I smoothied everyone. Then hubby took off and I fed the crew and cleaned the kitchen. Then son got up with the boys and set about getting them ready for mom. Just after getting up he sent the Per up to get me. Well, that is sometimes a good thing (the dogs or the kids are doing something funny) or something very bad. Well, down I came to find the laundry room flooded...water everywhere. That's one way to get the floor mopped. It's probably from the AC drain, but it's much too hot to turn the AC off. As we have cement floors in the den, I'm not going to worry about. Hubby can check it out when he gets home tonight. Keoki is doing well. He is bored and not wanting to stay still, poor baby. I take him to whatever room I'm in so I can watch him and keep him down. I brought his bed from our room to the den so he has better support down here now. It's gonna be a long 2 weeks but we will do whatever it takes to make it work. Now it's time to sit and surf for a bit. Ana, you sound like my sister. She is the person jogging at noon outside in 100+ degree weather and looking beautiful the whole time and not overheating. I, on the other hand, come home from our early morning walks with a bright red face and soaked to the skin. Joe, you know we love ya. Hang in there. Evelyne, Keoki is doing well. He is a sweetie...we'll be hauling him around like a potato sack and I know it hurts him, but there is his tail, wagging like mad. We just have to keep him off his feet and he doesn't like to be off his feet. He needs a big dose of lazy. Sorta, time to put on your deerstalker and solve the mystery. Back in a bit

Hot day and so quiet! Not much traffic and phone only rang once. Laundry done, a watermelon breakfast and pets all sleeping. Serene.
I finished Metro last light -it's an OK game. It seemed there was a lot of filler in it and those swamp quests stopped me for sure. But forte! keep at it. I am replaying it. Killzone 2 really spoiled me -that game gets the adrenilin going.
Finished up some cmptr odds and ends and tomorrow must be at the lawyer's about my will. I hope this is the last time. Paper work frightens me.
Sudoku time bye all

Good day everyone! It's quiet here today. Peter and I were given free passes today to the Super Spartan from the CEO for doing the workout with him last weekend so we will be racing Sunday. It will be 9 miles of rough terrain and 20+ obstacles. I must be crazy! Joe, it does my heart good to see your avatar here. L4L, glad Keoki is hanging in there. be back...

Ana you are amazing.
Keoki are in the kitchen. Much too hot in the bedroom and it's definitely the ac so really don't want to turn it up.

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well! Joe, it's good to see you. Keeping you and family in my thoughts and prayers. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Ana, I wish I had half your energy! Been a busy day here, right since I got out of bed this morning! Had a couple of appointments then housework and ironing because tomorrow I start prepping for the weekend's cakes...I think I will be using the fans downstairs as the mercury is soaring again! L4L, my wee cake business is doing far better than I had dreamed and for that I am truly thankful! Sorry to read about Keoki's problems, hope he gets better soon! I haven't yet been asked to do a gluten-free cake but I would try if I had to. The ingredients are so much more available now. Off to put the ironing away in it's rightful place then it'll be bed and Kindle for me! Enjoy the rest of your day guys! Mary

Doc, so glad to see you The AC leak turned out not to be the AC. Instead it seems the pipe that takes water out from the kitchen and washer is plugged....so No water in the kitchen, no washing of clothes. So, with that, I'm going to go turn the AC way down and go to bed. Sweet dreams all
