Since I'm still wearing my safari hat....

I think it's been a couple years since I posted this one. If not, it should go pretty quickly. lol

Find the bugs hiding in the answers to these clues. Each clue is followed by two numbers which indicate (the length of the answer word, length of the bug type). The bug spelling will appear in the proper order but not necessarily continuous.

-1. a ferrous attraction? (9,6)
-2. use a bug bomb (8,4)
-3. the Merrimack or the Monitor (7,4)
-4. misrepresent (7,3)
-5. military watercraft (7,4)
-6. H1N1 is one form (9,4)
-7. South African racial segregation (9,5)
-8. a single great stone (8,4)
-9. to become dense (7,4)
-10. she's the Beauty (5,3)
-11. eradicate an ant colony (11,7)
-12. watches over (7,4)
-13. boxing division with an upper limit of 126 pounds (13,6)

Curly, you have the first word right. The second word is the bug that's hidden in the first word, which is four letters.

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
