Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy

Hubby is furloughed today, so we will use the time to get some house chores done. Since the laundry room flooded, hubby moved everything from there into the den. So we will go through it all and toss toss toss before we reassemble the room.

The flood last night was my fault blush The plumbers came around supper time and fixed the original problem. Then, trying to be helpful, I cleaned out a filter in the washer that has to be screwed in and out. Well, apparently I didn't get it back in correctly. The washer wasn't working 'cos hubby had turned the water off to it because of the flood, but he hadn't told me. lol He turned it back on when he got home, we ran a wash, and presto chango...flood from the filter being not seated correctly. So, now laundry room floor is dry and the washer works happydance

I'll be doing some reorganizing in the kitchen today as that is the easiest room to hang in with Keoki. I'll also be baking bread as soon as I post. We are out. It's always so fun to bake in the summer cos stuff rises fast!

We are hot hot hot and humid humid humid, but as Connie says, we will be that until at least Sept.

Joe, so happy to have you back.

See you guys after I get some kitchen stuff accomplished.

Ana, I'm from West New York, New Jersey. Right across the Hudson from New York. We moved here in 63. Hubby is a West Virginia boy, and didn't like the city. Cailyn, there are Alligators in the lakes here. eek

L4L, Connie's in Florida. There are many gators in the lakes there. They are fond of poodles and other small dogs and cats. Everybody thinks how neat it would be to have a water view (like a lake in your back yard) from your home in FL. Not me! I would want to be as far from the small lakes and canals as I could get. No gator neighbors for me!

Andrea, that is hysterical. I totally misread that sentence and thought Connie was telling Cailyn there were gators in Cailyn's lake. I missed the word "here." rotfl

Bread is made, kitchen is cleaned, car is dropped off for service and now I'm going to go fold clothes and after that, make dinner.

Sweet dreams Haroula sleep

Sweet dreams Haroula.

Andrea, I think that L4L was asking Sue in Mass because she was swimming in her lake.wave

Sue, that sounds great! Do the dogs swim too? Mine were very happy to soak in the river today. puppy

Nan, have fun tonight! Glad the dentist was kind today!

Connie, quite a difference from NY to Florida. We are hoping to move to the Carolinas eventually.

Trippy, hope all is well by you!

Ana, great job opening the Diner; maybe Joe will hire you...you could sing, serve coffee, wash windows, mop floors, wash dishes... grin
Doing okay; also temps in the 90's and think I'll be turning the ac on shortly.
Wheat harvest has started and I don't envy those in the fields.

Dogs doing well, but will only stay out for awhile.

Looked for gators but no luck...whew.

Hi TRippy! yay I am gladly handing the keys back to Joe. He runs it so much better than me and I appreciate his talent in not only opening the Diner but entertaining us as well. grin
Maybe if he spikes the coffee I'll dance on the tables though. rotfl

My dogs wouldn't stay out either in this heat. When we go out, we walk, they swim, walk some more, swim some more. lol
