Does anyone have a save for after you pick Legrand's Cabin on the cruise? the puzzle is getting to the point of frustration for me so was wondering if anyone had a save or knew how to bypass it.

I haven't gotten to that point yet. I will see if I can get past it and then I need to figure out how to send a saved game.

Crow,

The saved game is sent. Look for your saved game folder. I sent the info on where Steam places the saved game file.

I'm with Crow on this one. This puzzle is beyond frustrating! I have all the cylinders pushed up and the door still won't open. If there isn't a way to bypass this puzzle, may I have a saved game, too, please?

Thanks,

gameho

I'm stuck near the end trying to check the blood sample by clicking the bloody cottom swab on the pipette.

I'm not getting a comment to do so (if there is one) and of course not getting the words "No blood".

Please send me a save game. thanks

Hi fellow Boomers,
I just finished Episode 1. I had a hard time solving the "Wire-Iock" puzzle, but after closely copying the pic of the solution in Mag's marvelous walkthrough, I managed to get it right----finally. This game is so remenicent of the Agatha Christie games, which I also enjoyed.
I have been trying to find the location of the savegame folder for this game (which I bought from Amazon, and was activated by STEAM) I have looked in all the places where Steam USUALLY stores it's avegames, but without success. I have WIN XP as my operating system. Maybe someone can give me a "heads up" as to where these savegames are kept. I would very much appreciate it. MEANWHILE, I'm looking forward to Episode 2 which should be released soon.
Sandy

I'm not sure about XP, but for Win 7 Steam stores it at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Game Steam number\my Steam number\remote

See if you can find it somewhere along those lines. luck

Thanks, Rushes, for the info about where the savegames are located. I finally found out where they are on a WIN XP pc:
C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\long number\game number\remote. WHEW!
I hope this will help some of our WIN XP players, especially when one has to add a "savegame" supplied by some of our esteemed members (such as yourself).
HAPPY GAMING!
Sandy

Marian that save you sent me didn't work maybe it's because I got the game at GamersGate. I'm playing on win xp. I tried everything to get it to work.

Richard,

Is the format of the file that was sent to you, the same as the other saved games you have?
Like save###.dsv
If so - it should work as long as the there are no duplicate numbers is in the saved game folder.

Did you renumber both files the same, Richard? think

I'll send you my own save. It's the Adventure Shop version. See if that makes any difference.
