make better medicine (6) = remedy (double def) smile

Netflix needs to stop asking if I'm still watching and start asking if I've switched the laundry over yet

building a centre outside northern gateway (8)= entrance (anag. of a centre+n)

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

land unusual audition, but miss out (5)

land = India; anagram of aUdiTiOn after removing
UTO (the letters of "out").
Quite worthy of Pandora's wet noodle!?

I think it's clean, Denis. The letters you need to anagram are all provided.

Agree; but not "out" is missing; it's an anagram
of "out" that's missing.
So I thought something like "but miss out BADLY"
would be required....
anyway, matters little to reducing the price of groceries wink

I think the word "unusual" qualifies as an anagram indicator. The letters being removed, (out) don't need to be removed in a specific order. smile
