Hi Chuck, have you done all of the following:
You're looking for Victoria, but she's not in her office. Ask the desk officer where she is.
Ask to speak to Malone. Head to the interrogation room: the entrance is to the left of the desk behind the stairs.
Ask about Sgt. Diaz, then ask about your visitor. You have a lead.
Go outside and ask Chon in his cab to take you home to Essex Street. Go to your office and use the phone book: It's the second shelf from the bottom to the left of the door.
Look at M, then pick out the most unusual Moore in the book: Violetta Moore
Then use the phone and ask the operator to dial Moore's number.

Hi Chuck, I don't have a save at this spot. Did you do this before attempting to fuse with the lighter: Left click-hold the piece and right click at the same time to turn it. Drop them when the cursor is on the orange dot. Use the blood and the notches as guides. Jack will say when it's correct.Perhaps double check each piece. If you still have trouble, hopefully someone else will have a save.

I just took another peek at MaG's walkthrough. The lighter should have been in your inventory from the start of the game, and is described (in the walkthrough) as "cigarette and lighter". Keep us posted.

Chuck, I forwarded my save from Mag to your email address. The save is an attachment. Let me know if you don't get it and I will try again. Sharon Sorry! Didn't read back far enough. Thought you were stuck on the doll puzzle. I have some saves so I will reinstall the game and see if one is right after that puzzle. I'll be back! Well I tried. None of my saves are near that point. I didn't save very often. Sorry!

Chuck, The saved game when the Dictaphone is arranged is sent. Take the lighter from inventory and use it on the pieces. Look close at arranged pieces. Use space bar to open inventory. Right click the selected lighter to use.
