Just started this game, and haven't seen a w/t or any instructions on how to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've been referring to the w/t thanks to you, MaG. However, in trying to get the chicken wings, Nell keeps telling me to get them off Hollow Island. Doesn't say where it is or how to get the wings. What am I supposed to do? Thanks again.

I have not played this game but it looks like in Chapter 4 that you automatically sail there if you finished all dialogues.

Maybe someone that has played this will help us.

Laurette -- it's been awhile and I don't remember the chicken wings in particular. lol But this game does have lots of "invisible triggers," where you have to talk to someone first or do something else first before you can access something.

I suggest reading the walkthrough MaG linked to and looking to see if there's perhaps an action or dialog that you missed.

Thank you both. The w/t says I can't get one of the mates unless I give him chicken wings! I sure hope I can find those bloody wings!

Hi Laurette, I'm not sure what the trigger is to get Nell to give you the chicken wings but have you talked to all other characters especially Tasco the innkeeper? Also have you talked to Thomas Briscoe to get a copy of the serial number of a map he wants you to find? It's also worth looking at the food & greasy frying pan in the inn's kitchen (door is on the right)if you haven't already. When you talk to Nell when her shop is open she should give you Fried chicken wings & a couple of other items - it's worth checking your inventory to see if she's already given them to you! Hope that helps! smile

Hi,

Has anyone figured out how to solve the puzzle of the graveyard statue, where you have to spin an inner circle and an outer circle (made of stone) so a compartment in the statue will open?
The inner circle has roman numerals, and the outer circle has weird symbols that I can't remember from anywhere in the game.

I had to look for the solution in a walkthrough which revealed the answer without explanations, but even in hindsight, I can't figure out why this is the solution crazy

Here's a screenshot of the puzzle untouched:

Anyone knows the key to this puzzle?

thanks

Let's wait for someone that has played the game.
I also checked other walkthroughs and saw only directions to solve the puzzle.

Although the solutions varies. lol

Thanks MaG. It's really odd that you chose to pass on this one smile

The solutions indeed vary, but not really as they all lead to the same result, they just say to spin the wheels in different directions but it doesn't matter.

Hi SirGraham, it's a long time since I've played the game but found some notes! The key to the puzzle is to match the code that can be seen through the telescope (I think?) smile

Thanks!

That was really stupid of me, I thought that what I saw through the telescope was the actual dial and not the solution to the puzzle...

blush laugh grin

oops thanks
