A small, insignificant creature crawls out of the darkness
and into a nighttime world populated by creatures of Swedish folklore --
The Svartalv
The Näcken
The Gruvfru
The Draug
The Älvor

I change all my passwords to "incorrect". So whenever I forget, it says, "your password is incorrect".

Thanks jenny and Gremlin. Dark games can be tough even if it's a great one. How about a full moon in a game that's set at night.!

Thanks Jenny100 & gremlin for the descriptive review - it seems interesting but the dark graphics really put me off!

The dark graphics can definitely be a problem.
They pretty much limit when you can play the game.
As I said in the *** Shinyloot sale thread ***

But once your eyes get accustomed to the darkness, it gives the game a certain otherworldly feel. If you've ever gone outside at night and noticed how even familiar places seem different in the dim lighting -- especially in woodsy areas -- it's sort of like that.

I think the dark graphics may prevent the game from being playable by gamers who have difficulty with their vision -- even if they play at night.

I regularly deal with a number of people who have a variety of sight-related conditions (from simple myopia, or colour blindness, through dyslexia, to retinitis pigmentosa), and almost universally they say that lack of contrast is the main issue with seeing things on screens ... and unfortunately, Oknytt is a perfect example of a low contrast game.

Thank you Jenny100 - bearing that in mind I may give the game a go!!
