What am I doing wrong? This is the the third time I've started the game from scratch following MaG:s walkthrough. For some reason I can't get the "crackbeetle" to appear. This time I followed the walkthrough to the letter.

I could really use some suggestions and help.

Hi Don,

I haven't played this game, unfortunately. If you're following MaG's walkthrough to the letter, I wonder what the problem could be. think Let's wait and see if anyone has an idea.

MaG, I have done exactly as said in the walkthrough. Talked with Mr. Churchmouse and clicked on the picture.

Don,

Just want to verify that you are looking at the correct place. I might not have explained it clearly.

You exit the towngate.
There are usually 2 guards on each side of that arch.
Look at the side (right I believe) that doesn't have a guard.
The green beetle will come out-pop up from one of the leaves.

MaG, There is only one guard on the left side and I have tried both right and left side's.

Can I skip this part and continue with the game?

Yes - you can skip it. It is only for an achievement.
I do not have my saves on this new computer. Sorry.

No Problem, I can't find the save game folder anyway.
