Clues lead to a headline type sentence that all begin with the same letter. The number in parenthesis identifies the number of words in the sentence.
Example: bleak paintings seem genuine (4) = austere art appears authentic
-1. tired nomads are thirsty (4) -2. child at evil stage, pesters adolescent (5) -3. old relics showed up overseas (4) -4. various waterfowl moved through the water post haste (4) -5. barbaric Scandinavian goes to Hall of Odin (4) -6. distraught grower worries about starvation (4) -7. favored boxer hits with authority (4) -8. astute eucalyptus eater learned a martial art (4) -9. backwoods dweller breeds small hares (4) -10. proficient woodworker builds kitchen storage by hand (4)

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.
