Hello.

Just wondering if anybody has a save for after they have sewn the dress. I'm not quite ready to give up trying yet but this feels like a puzzle I will not be able to do. I've only just been at it for a short time though and am tired so maybe it will work for me better tomorrow.

Thanks.

Hope you can do the sewing. Took me forever and some pulled hair to get through that puzzle.

Well, I had every intention of giving the sewing a good try but could only take about 5 minutes of listening to Nancy say that she had to start over so I had to use the save you sent to me MaG. I just don't have the patience lately for some of the puzzles. It'll be there if I want to go back to it at some point.

I am at the end of the game now trying to do the "chase". Just can't deal with it right now though unfortunately.

Thanks again for your help!

I finally felt I had some patience and went back into this game. I first had to finish that last puzzle. After that I went back into my saved game and have been trying for 2 hours now to sew that darned dress. I am getting farther but this is a big dress! Unfortunately the game will not save a half sewn dress and you have to always start over. I will keep trying; maybe I'll get lucky!

When I was struggling with that puzzle, I found that sewing at breakneck speed, although not very accurately, got me through it.

I did the same again when I re-played the game and it worked that second time also whistle

Thanks Mad. I think the walkthrough says to go slowly but I seem to have a little better luck when I go faster also. I can get at least 1/2 way through and maybe a little further but then Nancy decided she can do better. She keeps asking "would I wear this?" and I keep answering YES, but she just doesn't want to listen to me!!

I am stuck on getting into the carriage house. The last letter should be L but there is no L on that wheel. Also, when I enter K, O, and P, no red triangle appears on the diamond as the walkthrough indicates it should. What am I doing wrong?

I'm in the carriage house now but in the domino puzzle the dominoes won't rotate.

If you right-click the domino tiles, they will rotate. wave

It's not working. Is there a glitch in my game? I can only pick up the tiles and move them in the position they are already in.

Per this thread it appears you need
Quote:
Check out the wall above the desk. There's a little circular thing on there. The magnifying glass wil turn red if you're on the right object. It's called a radiometer, and that's what you need to look at before the dominoes will work properly.:)

Does this help?

Still doesn't work. I guess I need a save for the domino puzzle.

There are a bunch of saves HERE. I think that #16 might be the one you need? You can download it separately by the blue disk icon to the right of it. luck
