I downloaded version 8.1 this morning in my laptop.

It took 2½ hours to do so with the download and then the installation.

You just need to go to the Homepage and click the Windows Store to find the download.

They installed a direct link to the Homepage at bottom left in the task bar.

There is now an arrow to pass from Homepage to the Apps page and back.

Going around to see what is new for my non-tech use. wink

I change all my passwords to "incorrect". So whenever I forget, it says, "your password is incorrect".

Gil, I will say that I was a bit bold to download it, but after looking at it for the things I use, the changes can be manage easily.

There is one thing that I did not use much, and that's the Apps.
I will eventually look at them more seriuosly.

For now, my desktop is a very secure one and so is my Homepage.

I often say that you can't stop progress. And internet is one of them. dance

The one thing I'm hating about being out of town right now is getting my 8.1 upgrade! I'm looking forward to downloading it as soon as I get home next week.

I tried to update mine yesterday and was not able to get through. I think they're very busy. So there would probably be a delay getting it anyway.

So it's a good thing I'm up in Iowa! It's Mom's 90th birthday, so we're celebrating.
