I haven't been a member of BFG for a year now as I became sated with hidden objects.
I have only just started to look at the site again and notice there is a "Puppetshow" game I haven't yet played. As I like this series I'm thinking of rejoining BFG.
What fabulous games have I missed this last year?
I like adventure games with lots of puzzles, light on hidden objects, games like Green Moon, Dire Straits etc. Above all I like games to be absolutely free of glitches and problems.
Any suggestions of where I should look first?

Hi meryl smile

Two that I enjoyed a lot were :-

Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink.

and

Sea of Lies: Mutiny of the Heart.

And I'm currently playing another that I'm liking very much - House of a 1000 Doors : Serpent Flame.
[The latest in this excellent 1000 Doors series.]

Cheers.

Hi meryl, there haven't been any games like Green Moon released in the past year that I am aware of, but here are a few casual games that have been released that are relatively light on hidden object scenes and more adventure/puzzle:

Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders
9: The Dark Side of Notre Dame
Reality Show: Fatal Shot (no hidden object scenes)
Nearwood
Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter
Surface: The Soaring City
Surface: The Pantheon
The Beast of Lycan Isle (no straight hidden object scenes that I can remember)

Thank you both.
I'll take a look at all of those first.

Thank you Kim. I noticed The Nutcracker when I last went on the site and thought it would probably be "my thing". I'll have a look at both.

Eternal Journey: New Atlantis (Mars) was fabulous. Extensive, beautifully drawn and creative. One of my favorites for 2013. No HOG that I remember. Botanica is shorter but also very creative. And every one of the games in the 1000 Doors series are excellent!
