Hi Mad,

Here are a few to check out:

the Fishdom series (very cute and well done)
Jewel Match 2 and Jewel Match 3 grin
Flower Paradise
Puzzle Park
Unwell Mel (which is also quite humorous)

Hopefully other GameBoomers can add their suggestions. wave

Some of the early Jewel Quest games are pretty straight forward. Just stay away from the ones that have the HO's.

Hi - And thank you both !! smile

I looked at Jewel Match 2 & 3 not long after I bought the first one but from the blurb they seemed to be different - but maybe they are not after all then.

So I'll get them and have a go.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers.

Hi again Jackpumpkin

I went back to BigFish and bought nos. 2 and 3 Jewel Match games and they aren't seeded with puzzles or other stuff so they are just what I was looking for.

Thanks a bunch !!

Cheers.

I'm so glad you brought this up Mad.
I, too, like to play a Match 3 or a Marble Popper for just those things. Get really irritated at the "storytelling" or other interuptions.
Maybe it's because one gets into a certain pace and achieves a bit of dexterity, to have it all go to pot by having to find some dratted objects or whatever.
Likewise, I don't like the timed bits of Nancy Drews. It spoils the atmosphere and the immersion for me. Guess I like to get into a certain pace and keep there.

edit. Have just realised this is the Casual forum and not the realm of the Nancy Drew major games. I often forget not to mix my comments/questions. Sorry.
