Rojavon is my first Galatic Republic character to reach level 55. First Sith Empire was Josra. Rojavon also got Taundra Tauntaun mount.

Yes, but the vehicles are easier to get than the animals.

Arachnathena just reached level 55.

Rojavon's new armor

Czerka Corporations quest line seems to be implemented wrong. Every other planet you visit in the game someone gives you a quest to go there. To get the CC quests your character has have whim to visit CZ-198, just because it appears on his ship's map of the galaxy. When you get there a droid will send you to talk to a character on your alliance fleet. Odd enough one of the dialogue options is to ask where CZ-198, which you just came from is. Anyway that character will send you back to CZ-198. Back on CZ-198 you will pick up some Daily quests. The main quest is short, it just tells you do a Flash Point, followed by a second Flash Point. After you've completed the second one you'll be sent back to that same person on the fleet to end the story line. Flash Points and Daily quests are repeatable. Flash points as often as you want, Daily quests once a day.

The Dread Wars you click on the Priority Missions box on your flet to get a quest to talk to a droid on the fleet. The droid will tell you to go to Oricon. Probably, there should have been a Priority Mission to goto CZ-198. You take your ship to Oricon.

On Oricon you will pick up a quest which is the first of six story quests. Five of the quests are theorically soloable, though I usually find someone to help. One is a Heroic-2 so needs at least two players, four would be faster. Take a few steps out of your base you'll probably be attacked but don't fight back, take a few more steps forward until you receive an Area quest, to kill 50 foes. Now fight back. First time I made the mistake of killing foes with ranged attacked and then when I took a couple steps forward I got the quest. So that fight was wasted. In this case the area is the entire planet. You'll be killing these foes as you do the other quests.

Although they have different names on each side they are essentially the same quests. Except that the empire rescues republic soldiers to force them to serve the empire.

After you've completed all these quests you'll be given a quest to do one of two Operations. An Operation is an 8-16 person mission that's going to take over an hour. I haven't yet done the operations. Also, after doing the quests once you'll find the daily mission box is accessible. It will give you a Weekly quest (yes its available once a week) to do all the quests you just did over again. They will be slightly easier though as you only have to gather 5 items you previously needed 10 of and only have to kill 2 bosses instead of 3 in the heroic. On the other hand, there are no Bonus quests available that weren't available before. Unlike other bonus quests wich give XP these only work towards achievements and so are only needed once per account.

The first time you complete the quests you'll be rewarded with armor. Daily quests reward Basic Commendations.

Czerka I've done once, on Republic side. I didn't like it.

Oricon I've done repeatedly mostly on Empire.

Oh first time through you get the quest one at a time and have to keep returning to camp to get reward and recieve next quest. After the first time through you can grab all the Daily quests at once so you only need to return to camp when you've finished all of them.

Some stores that sell PC games may have Cartel Coin Cards that include a bonus pet. Its also possible to purchase a downloadable card. Best Buy's version doesn't say anything about a mini pet but Amazon's does. November 12th the pet is changing. So buy now to get the current pet and/or wait until November 12 to get the new on. It's $19.99 for 2400 coins. Buying coins in the game doesn't include the bonus pet. Also game adds sales tax, Amazon doesn't.

They implemented buy cartel coins in game and subscribers get their first purchase of coins in game at half price.

Josra just completed Chapter 4: Rise of the Hurt Cartel.

Seems to me Czerka should be Chapter 5 and Dread Wars Chapter 6 but no such title screens appear.

Yes.

Xoanan (6th character I created, 3rd Imperial) is my first imperial character to get all his companions (not counting ship's droid or Treek of of course) to max affection and 1000 kills. He also just reached level 53. Two levels to go.

Nasehbo, Jedi Knight has reached level 55 completed Rise of the Hutt Cartel. I'm never doing Makeb again. Once on Empire and once on Republic is enough.

Makeb is not melee character friendly in general (too many large mobs that you have no area of effect skill to thin out) and the last boss on the Republic side is impossible on melee character because it has an instant kill skill that you have to out run and you cannot do that when you're right next to it hitting it with lighsabers. By the time you see its using the skill its too late to run out of rage. A guild member on a trooper had to come shoot it for me while I was dead. I didn't even get the red warning light I just dropped dead.

Oh and the boss double its health points for two people so it was even harder and I was no help dying with barely scratching it.

My first run characters all use traditional weapons, ie jedi and sith use lightsabers. trooper uses blaster rifle. With my second run character's I've mixed it up a bit. My sith warrior marauder is now armed with two Gamorrean Axes. My sith asassin has a cathar warstaff which give her a twin bladed weapon instead of doublebladed lightsaber. My imperial agent operative has a bowcaster instead of blaster rifle.

Most of the end game armor is really ugly. So most of my 55 level characters will not be sporting new armor. I take the modifiers off to use on old armor instead. I may give the new armor to companions, with my old armor mods on it. They can look ugly (lol).

Its easier to upgrade Treek's armor if your an aim, ie trooper, you just give her your old armor.

In a very time consuming, not cheap and confusing move, Miauw the jedi sage is now Miyau the sith assassin. And Sectine the sith assassin is now Sectine the jedi sage. Just so the cathar assassin has the cathar weapon rather than the twilek. Fortunetly the first name change was free. The second name change and the race and appearance changes were not.

Miyau starter armor, new armor

Sectine, starter armor, new armor

Both characters are FEMALE and both light side. Sectine is now my healer and now in TORWarz. Miyau is now in TORWars. I almost confused my self and said that backwards.

You can gain reputation points with different groups. There's a weekly cap though. It resets on Tuesday. Every Tuesday I have so much Dread Masters reputation items that it takes me under 5 minutes to be capped for the week again.

Although Josra the bounty hunter was the first character I created, he's the last to get all companions to max affection. So now all companions of all classes are maxed. I still have some to get to 1000 kills (or even 100 in a couple cases).

This is a bad time for there to be a double experience weekend, holidays busiest time in retail, so naturally there is one. Its because the new space pvp is coming out in December.

Silvary, sith warrior, has reached level 55. And Qazari, jedi consular, has reached level 53 during what little time I had to play during double xp weekend.

Beware the Raghoul Plague! Announcer on the imperial fleet was saying to incinerate yourself if you got it. Didn't hear any such announcement on the republic side. On either fleet is a newscaster which will give you the quest to deal with the plague on Alderaan.

Once on Alderaan you'll probably me mobbed by plague bearing NPCs which you'll have to kill. I got a raghoul mini from one. There's a daily quest (you can do it once a day per character) to treat infected but not yet hostile citizens. The other quest I didn't get started on as the server went down for maintenance just as I was taking taxi to the area.

Its going to be possible to get companion modifiers which make them look infected, they look like zombies basically.

Oh this is level 55 stuff. If its like Gree and Bounty Hunting Association, it will last awhile then end but return later.

Oops apparently the plague is not just 55 but it will scale up for 55s. So you'll see people lookinh got s group for the 4 person quest stating what level they're looking for. I've completed everything except the large group operation on the imperial side on bounty hunter. May try republic side later.

Problem with taking characters under level 55 to plague area is its not instanced, so if you're say level 25 (like my jedi sage) and you try to do the 4 person heroic with 3 other level 20s your foes will you can handle but the level 55 players don't pay attention to what level other people are and spawn level 55 foes everywhere. They can also do that outside the heroic but it doesn't seem to happen as much.

The other problem is, some people will enter the plague are set with PVP mode on and if you accidentally target one, because they stood in the middle of your mob so you would hit them, then you can put into PVP mode and they mob you.

This is just the sort of griefing Arenanet purposely left out of Guild Wars 2.

Still haven't done the operation. Because of the above I'm only doing the plague stuff on level 55 characters.

There's a hidden quest. If you get infected by the plague you'll eventually die. If you do around other people you'll infect them. Infect 3 to complete the quest you only get once you've infected at least one person. It takes 20 minutes to actually die. This part is listed under achievements as a form of PVP. You can buy an antidote wich will remove the infection and keep you from getting infected for 6 hours.
The easiest way to do this quest is to stand on the fleet around other players until you die. If youre not infected look for somebody with a green glow who keeps coughing. When they die you'll get infected and can do the quest. If you don't want to be infected you can check how long before they die and infect you and leave the area or get the inoculation. Death from the plague doesn't damage your armor. While you're infected you will cough which interrupts whatever you are doing. So you probably don't want to be infected in the operation.

Turns out there are achievements for doing PVP in the raghoul plague area. I still think you shouldn't be able to accidentally hit another player characters and be forced into PVP.

The getting infected then exploding to infect other player characters is considered a form of PVP and there is an acheivement for infecting 100 people. I won't be getting that one. It takes 20 minutes to explode and if you're lucky you'll infect 3 people. One time I only infected two and a guild member only infected 1 the first time. That's a lot of time standing around doing nothing to infect 100 characters. Hitting 3 disinfects you so you'd have to either go fight raghouls to get infected again or wait for someone else to explode near you.

The inoculation costs 2000 a doze and last 6 hours, unless you die. There are also relics, 5000 (level 25), 10000 (level 35) and 20000 (level 50) which give you endurance and presence bonuses and infite inoculations. I got one on my trooper because he didn't have good relics. He'll eventually replace it with an endurance and power relic that doesn't extra damage. for use outside this event.

Don't have time now, but I'll be posting a pic of Pysco in her new THORN (raghoul plague) armor. Note: the armor is legacy bound not character so one character can buy it (costs 1 DNA canister per piece for a total of 7) and mail it, but once it leaves the purchaser its no longer refundable. So buy it on the character you think will wear it, in case you change your mind, because you have a couple hours to think it over as long as it doesn't leave the purchasing character. Once it leaves the purchaser vendor will only pay you 1 credit a piece.

Pysco in THORN Epicenter Armor Set the THORN Dark Vector Armor Set which is green, requires Champion reputation and cost more. Epicenter Armor requires Newcomer and is the 1 DNA canister per piece (7 total). You get Newcomer after playing all quests (not counting OP which requires Newcomer) on one character and one quest on a second character or waiting to next day if you only have one character and doing one quest again. I got close to Friend before the weekly limit was reached. Tomorrow morning I'll be able to use the reputation items again, and probably be locked out again within seconds, but should easily reach Friend and probably half way to Hero.

This event ends Tueaday but there is a vendor on Nar Shaddaa which should stay.

I do the opposite alignment, light side or dark side, so some differences. There are also things I have forgotten. For example: I had forgotten that bounty hunter meets a future companion early in chapter 2. He doesn't actually join you until later.

I'm playing dark side trooper/commando now. I recall that at some point she'll be asked to choose which of two companions to promote. My male trooper promoted the woman. My female trooper will promote the male. A little difference there.

Misuteri is finishing up the first chapter for imperial agent, he was actually further along than the other two characters were when I stopped playing him. I don't know why, but suddenly I'm thinking about how much time it would actually take the characters to do these missions if they could actually be done in reality. Just traveling from point A to point B must in some cases be days of travel and that's just one way. Then they have to make the same trip back. Never mind the actually traveling between planets. Really by the time Misuteri knocks out this shield generator, which is on the other side of the planet (the cost of projecting a shield such a distance must be more than some planets economies produce) and gets back to the now unprotected house, his enemies would have plenty of time to escape but of course they don't even try.

I know it just a game I shouldn't try to take it so seriously.

I like not dying when fighting a large mob, but takes getting used to doing less damage than my companion. I haven't done much tanking with other players yet.

Arachnathena maxed HK-51's affection and he programed himself to never leave her. If she has an heir he or she will inherit the droid.
Misuteri has maxed Treek's affection and she promised to never seek a new master. She expects to die in his service just because ewoks don't live as long as chiss.

Now to get the other achievements I have to max HK-51 and Treek on pub toons. Yulyadya is half way there on Treek, but Rojavon only has 357 points on HK-51.

Oh. Yulyadya just learned from Treek, that why she's sleeping (Yulyadya) the ewok sneaks off and kills Yulyadya's enemies. Yulyadya should be upset by such unjedi like behaivor, but since she's a dark jedi.....(I still wish being dark jedi actually had consqeuences but the council never notices).

Nekokei has completed chapter 1 of the sith warrior story. Being dark side it has a little different ending than Silvary had. He turned a jedi padawan to the dark side. So the dialogue with her will be very different from what Silvary got leaving her light side. As a dark side companion she is potential romance option for male sith warrior.

Ive been alternating between republic and empire characters, so now I'll switch to light side jedi consular/sage. I tried healing her with but its not fun for me. Its dull when just doing quests alone with companion that doesn't need much healing and frustrating when playing with other people. I'm not cut out to be a healer. I'm either healing too often and run out of energy or not healing fast enough when they take a sudden damage spike from a boss. So I'm taking her back to DPS, damage dealing.

Sectine has completed jedi consular chapter 1. She's the last character I made but to alternate pub and imp side I had to skip over sith assassin Miyau, whom I'll play next. Sectine is actually a misprouncing of sixteen, as she's my 16th character.

Oh, I'm enjoying Sectine, jedi sage much more as dps than I did as healer. I'm trying tanking with Miyau, sith assassin, though I still think a light armor tank is odd.

Miyau has completed sith inquisitor chapter 1, so all my characters have finished chapter 1. Half 2 and 3 as well. Now I go back to alternating sides. So Aolani works on smuggler chapter 2. Trying to keep her neutral is too exhausting and since Rojavon is lightside, I've decided Aolani has finally fallen to the darkside.

I need the raghoul plague back. I ran out of THORN reputation items half way between "Champion" and "Legend". Also of couurse need a lot more DNA canisters, to kill the plague only world boss once more and to do operation until that boss droops me its item, so I can get that diseased reptile mount.

Companion modfifier you buy with DNA cannisters from Raghou Plauge event. Its the most expensive and I think best looking one.

Aolani just completed smuggler chapter 2, its a lot shorter than chapter 1. And she now has all smuggler companions, including ship's droid + Treek. She does not have HK-51.

Next Casami does bounty hunter chapter 2. After that if I want to keep alternating between republic and empire I wont be going in order I made characters as my next thee characters after Casami are also empire, my last 3 are republic.

Its a little confusing going from stealth character, smuggler scoundrel, to no stealth, bounty hunter pyrotech. Get used to going invisible and sneaking past foes. Also sometimes going from darkside to lightside or vice versa and have to remember that.

Doing stuff I've forgotten. So having two of each character isn't boring. Not the way I had them spread out.

Hello, my name is Stuart and I'm an altoholic. Sixteen characters wasn't enough. I have 6 more on another server, to avoid paying for extra character slots. The reason excuse for five was that while I had every playable race I did not have both genders. My two humans for example were both female and only had one of most of the other races. Chiss I had one female and one male. The sixth extra character was so I would have 2 female and 2 male humans. Down side of being on another server is not connected to other 16 characters legacy (so no legacy skills or buffs) and no access to TORWars/TORWarz guild. The sith empire toons are however all in a single guild now (Black Squadron).

Ramei, male Rattataki, Sith Inquisitor/Sorcerer - completed the prequel early this morning.

Adla, female Miraluka, Jedi Consular/Sage

Sie'nna, female Sith Purebread, Sith Warrior/Jagguernaut

Jadnizha, female Zabrak, Jedi Knight/Guardian - I think she has the prettiest in game face

Unowen (unknown), male human, Trooper/Commando

Saburo, male human, Imperial Agent/Sniper - Saburo is Japanese for third son, my third male character on The Harbinger server

Adla has completed jedi consular prequel. Sie'nna completed sith warrior prequel early this morning.

Jadnizha was actually my first of these new characters to join a guild, Red Squadron, but sith empire all got in the sister guild Black Squadron before I could get other pub side characters in RS. Still working on it.

Edit: Double Experience March 14-17.

April 8 the Invasion begins. Two new level 55 flash points will have teams of imperials invading the Jedi home world of Tython and republic forces invading the Sith home world of Korriban (not to be confused with the republic and empire capital worlds) as the war heats up. Also new hutt ball pvp and space combat stuff.

Already did....Cayuse smuggler and Cacao bounty hunter.

Casami finished bounty hunter chapter 2.

There is apparently going to be a second major update later this year, after the housing and guild ship one. All we know about what it does is that its said to be comparable to Rise of the Hutt Cartel, which added a new planet with its own quests, in size.

Misuteri has completed imperial agent chapter 2. He turned down a marriage proposal from Kaliiyo Djannis because he realized he couldn't trust her with his life work, when he found out she had been selling imperial secrets to anarchists. He doesn't know yet if he can trust his new associate Raina Temple, imperial solider learning to be an operative.

Turning Kaliiyo down dropped her affection so now he has to bribe her with gifts to get it back to 10000. Only 98 points. The funny thing is after you turn her down in the next dialogue she seems to have forgotten the rejection and promises to stay with your crew to teach any new members.

Next: Yulyadya jedi knight.

Josra the infamous bounty hunter along with two sith an another bounty hunter have deprived the Jedi of their home world. The Jedi Temple on Tython lies in ruins. And their Padawan have been executed.

The flash point had a bug. We had to start over because one of the 4 defense turrets you have to destroy wouldn't activate so we could.

The Republic of course retaliated by capturing Korriban the Sith home world. So now Josra has to retake it for the Empire. The things an independent bounty hunter has to do for money. smile

Saved Korriban, but something is going on that will apparently be continued later. Now I have to do the republic side. There's an acheivment for doing both once.

Sith and Jedi are both up to something and not telling their own people. Both sides seem to sense some new threat but of course being at war don't share what they know with each other.

Completing both flash points on one character rewards an HK51 appearance modifier. Didn't do Josra any good as he doesn't have HK51. For pub side I will do the fps on Rojavan first and he does have HK51. Later I'll do imp side again on Arachnathena, she has Hk51.

There's a new armor vendor, but the two sets would look strange on agent or bounty hunter, seem to be designed for sith. Guessing similar thing on pub side, the armor fitting jedi more than trooper or smuggler.

Story makes most sense if you do Republic Korriban first, then Imperial Tython. After that either Republic Tython or Empire Korriban, it doesn't seem to matter. Either way the planet's owners take it back.

Oh and doing pub side on Rojavon finally got him to max light side points.

Double XP weekend.

Fastest way to level is to do the Kuat Drive Shipyard flash point, use an XP booster and you can get 225% this weekend.

Since Josra and Rojavon did the invasion flash points they've been getting mail from NPCs, some involved in the new stuff and some characters from their past (ie chapter 2).

The funny thing is the NPC claims to dislike women because of a past bad relationship, but he actually proposed without much flirting. Most other NPCs are more work. The other male human NPC sith inquisitor gets is probably older and you get one flirt option early on as more of a joke than a serious attempt to romance him.

I wont be playing SWTOR this weekend, got invited to Wild Star beta weekend, unfortunately I've been asked to come into work early Friday so only have 3.5 hours of game play Friday. The beta is not a secret, they talk about it on Facebook and there is no non-disclosure agreement.

Glad I started downloading Wild Star already. Started this morning and its still only 60% done. Probably not alone in getting ready for tomorrow.

The droid is already given out to existing players. Every characters get it in the mail.

I'm having fun in a Wildstar thread debating whether Dominion is evil and Exiles good, arguing that the person who said the Galactic Republic is the evil side in SWTOR, is correct smile I agreed with the person who said its more accurate to say, in D&D terms, that the Dominon is lawful while the Exiles are chaotic. Same I think could be applied to Sith Empire and Galactic Republic. Though Republic politicians do come of as more corrupt.

Large update. They added a new Hutt holiday event. The casino now has actual slot machines. Made a lot of class skill changes. Double XP week coming. Bounty week coming (wish they'd stop that I don't play it). Gree week coming too. No mention of the plague which is the one I like.

Edit: Don't make the same mistake I did. I didn't realise there was a quest on the fleet that will give you 5 free chips. I just went to Nar Shaddaa on my own and spent 3000 credits on 3 chips. Won 1 50k chip which I quickly lost.

The slot machines are disappointing, now slot machine visual. You just click on the machines with chips in your inventory and you either lose 1 or win something. There are two types of machines. The Smugglers seem to give Smuggler chips and Kingpin chips. I always lose the Kingpin chip without winning anything on those machines.

Very buggy now. I keep getting kicked back to character screen when I try to log on.

Character that was in a guild about 45 minutes ago is not now, because apparently the game is disbanding entire guilds.

Seems to only affect some servers. Shadowloands doesn't seem to have the problem, but Harbinger does.

Okay, who broke the internet?!?

Just as we we're starting the lsst boss fight in Directive 7 flashpoint I got disconnected and now I can't get back into Star Wars or load the Star Wars web site. And Gameboomers is very slow to load.

I can load World of Warcraft web site and play WOW, but not Guild Wars 2.

I can watch You Tube videos but cannot currently connect to Netflix or Amazon.

I can't load Facebook.

I don't know what all the sites I cannot connect to have in common.

WOW has its headquarters in California.
GW2 is in Washington state. Which puts them on the same coast.

I don't know where SWTOR's headquarters is.

200 more kills and I will finally have all bounty hunter companions at 1000 kills. Already have all at 10,000 affection.
Sith Inquisitor needs 427 kills. Sith Warrior needs dark side version of companion to reach 10000 affection. Then all class companions will be done.

Don't think I'll finish HK-71 achievements. Will eventually max his affection on pub side and only needs 180 monsters killed but also has to kill 300 player characters. And I hate open world PVP.

No she's not. Just latest. She got last bounty hunter companion to 1000 kills.

Miss double xp already although there was one bad side, while experience was doubled, money drops were not. And it easy to level up but not be able to afford to upgrade skills. I have one character who has half the money needed to get 1 new skill. I'll have to do ship yard flash point several times to get more money except it also tends to level a character even without double xp (once without, twice with).

Whoever came up with this Bounty Week nonsense is an idiot. They put a bounty boss in the same place where a boss needed to complete a Hutta achievement normally spawns and screw those of use who don't care about the stupid bounty out of the achievement by making the regular character not spawn. And they do this with Strongholds that display achievements coming up next month.

And this isn't the only dumb thing they did on Hutta. They have bounty npcs who are in the 20s appear inside the Catina where imperial agents and bounty hunters begin their questing. So your level 1 character has to try avoid aggroing level 28 foes when ever somebody is doing bounty week.

Went to casino on a jedi knight. Used the free smuggler coins from the quest. Won a kingpin coin, lost it. Won another kingpin coin and Feeling Lucky buff. Won the Rancor mount. Promptly lost all remaining smuggler coins. This animal mount puts your character so high off the ground it looks like you'd hit your head on ceilings if your indoors and nps look small.

Completed bounty hunter story second time, on Casami. When Josra did it, he was all dark side until the end when he went neutral (maxed out DS I figured I didn't need the DS points). Casami was all light side until the end when she made her only darkside choice. Figured since I didn't kill the enemy on Josra, I needed to on Casami, anyway it was personal this time, not just a bounty.

While I was on vacation the Gree event ran, don't mind missing that. I was able to pick up Gree armor for my light side trooper. Now that stupid bounty hunter week is back. Come on guys do the raghoul plague, its the best event. Other two just annoying.

Realistically, probably none of the races should be genetically compatible, although according to lore humans and sith have had off spring, which is why the true sith race is dying out and will be extinct by the time of the films. BTW the jedi apparently took their name from a dead race too.

Guild Wars 2 lore say those playable races are not compatible, which makes sense the charr are feline and the sylvari are plants.

Appparently the level 55 quest line that lets you invade the jedi home world or the sith home world is part 1 in a 3 part story with more of it coming later this year.

Shadowlands characters got T.H.O.R.N. Legend, unfortunately had to wait for weekly cap on rep to rest this morning and the plague evwen is over, so I cant get the mount or the mini pet, though I have all the items needed. They did the even without any advance notice so I missed the first two days. Now that stupid "Bounty Week" will repeat yet again. They should just drop the pretense and have it constantly running instead of ever other week. Least interesting of the three events and they run it the most. Plague the best and they've done it twice this year.

Harbinger characters made Friend and hit rep cap for the week (sigh) just short of Hero, so get that rank next week.

Next week: Strongholds (player housing) for subscribers, preferred and free to play get later

My Harbinger server characters got THORN Hero this morning.

Strongholds were introduced for subscribers. If you subscribed when they first announced strongholds all your characters can unlock a free Sky Palace on Nar Shaddaa, with 5 extra rooms already opened. You can let one other player (at a time) visit.

Xonanan, my sith inquisitor bought an apartment on Dromund Kass. The apartment is only 5k, but will cost nearly 2m to unlock all the rooms. Which it turns out is a lot less than the rooms in Nar Shaddaa cost. Xonanan opened garage and first couple rooms upstairs.

You get trophies for achievements and since I can't recall which characters earned which I just put them all in every home. You get multiple copies in the form of pictures to hang on the walls.

Each character you do the strong hold quest on unlocks more items. All the same for each but they're unlocked for the legacy so even if you dont want to decorate every characters home you could still do the quest then use the extra items on just one stronghold, which is probably what I'll do.

There's a new operation and new quests I haven't tried yet which reward stuff for strongholds.

Strongholds are legacy bound so when you unlock Nar Shadaa home its unlocked for all your characters on the same server. Each character that you take to it though counts for the quest. Unfortunantly there is a limit on how many companions, pets and mounts you can display. So no way to show them all smile

Same is true for Tatooine which is also a neutral planet.

The alliance capital worlds of course only unlock for characters matching the side.

So home on NS has only Josra's companions on display, including HK-%1 but not Treek.
Home on DK has Xoanan's companions including Treek on display.

I may never own Tatootine home its 2.5 million just to unlock basic home.

Forever, its not an event.

All my characters have done the quest now.

One of them completed a flashpoint and he got a trophy for that. In "story mode" its a small picture to hang the wall. In "hard mode" it would be a large picture.

My first Harbinger server character. Ramei the dark side rattaki sith inquisitor has finished chapter 2. He also first on that server to make to 100k credits. However he spent half of it on stronghold expansion and most of the rest on crafting skills. So he has to do flashpoints to be able to afford combat skills. Of course flash points give lots of XP so he ends up leveling and having to play more FPs to afford the next new skill, which means he has to do more fps.

I no longer have my characters posted on Torwars Wiki. New administrator is a nut. He doesn't want people posting their characters on their user page (which is the whole point of user pages on game wikis). He should go take a look at Guild Wars wiki, Guild Wars 2 wiki and WOW wiki to see all the templates they have for people to use to display their characters. Get some idea what user space is for.

He also removed all the information I added to HK-51 and Treek pages. Apparently. he wants the pages to contain less information, which makes no sense at all.

Josra did the last two new flash points. Now wait for part 3 of this max level story. As I expected, its a cross alliance conspiracy. Not impressed by who the chief villain turns out to be, maybe if I had read the books. I already killed him once, its cheating for him to be back again.

Now I should do it on Rojavon to get the Republic point of the view of the same plot.

I still don't know why the reward includes two different mods for HK-51s appearance. Has nothing to do with the plot.

Stronghold decorations now drop from random foes. Just wish I'd stop getting the same one. Used two, put third for sale.

Hi All, I have been playing GW2 for a while now and I'm looking for some variety. I played SW:TOR for a while and I guess I'm looking for advice or suggestions for someone that is looking at coming back to the game. I realize this is a pretty vague request and any help, no matter how general would be appreciated.

Well, I went ahead and started playing SW:TOR again. I still have the two characters I played before, a level 17 Gunslinger and level 18 Jedi Sage but I decided to start a fresh character so started a Jedi Knight. So far it doesn't look or play any differently. The free vs. subscription options are a bit confusing but I chose subscription for now, mainly so I can have more characters.

I would appreciate any advice if there is anything really different that would be good to know while playing a low level character. Otherwise, I'll just play for a while and will pick it up as I go.

How you play the game hasn't challenged, although some skill trees have. Every time they change skill trees some characters get their skill trees automatically reset so you have to reapply your skill points.

Max level went from 50 to 55.

When I started each planet had it own Commendation, which was only useful for equipment or equipment mods of that planet's level. Later they changed it to "Planet Commendations" and you decide whether to use on current planet or wait until later one. All the planet com vendors are on the fleet so you can check them all out.

There are now several "Tactical Flashpoints". These do not require 1, tank, 1 healer and 2 DPS to complete. Group finder will find the first four players available. I've done them on all tank, all healers and all DPS teams. The first flash point for each side is this way and there are 3 or 4 more. At level 15 you gain access to Kuat Drives Flashpoint. Its actually a level 55 flashpoint, all characters under 55 are bolstered so they do level 55 damage or healing. This flash point is probably the fastest way to level up.

There's more level 55 stuff. Including a story line that has you invading the other sides planets.

When I first start a new character I do every quest on the starter world. I've also begun doing acheivments, which mostly consists of killing lots of different foes.

From level 10-15 the fastest way to level up is to do the first flash point you gain access to on the fleet. Get the quest "Introduction to Groupfinder" first. Then add yourself to groupfinder and wait. After completing flash point return to fleet to get the quest reward. Then get the quest "[WEEKLY]Searching for allies". Go get the flashpoint quest again and add yourself to groupfinder again.

If you're level 15 find the strong hold quest hologram (on fleet and capital worlds). If you've been a subscriber long enough you'll have a free Nar Shadaa strong hold. If not you'll need 5K to buy a strong hold on your capital world. Going to the stronghold will complete the quest. NOTE: the quest gives more exp the higher your level so if you dont have a free stronghold or the credits to buy one you may as well wait to do the quest later. Just do it before you reach level 55 (no xp if you're 55).

When the Raghoul Plague event comes back its a good way to level too,but be aware it has mixed level people doing it and if you're level under level 55 you want to avoid the 55 mobs that spawn for 55s. Some people don't fight their mobs and if a level 55 runs your way run as fast as can from them because if they lead a level 55 mob to you, your dead. Fortunately the mobs don't last too long. So if you see them you can out distance them. There's a operation for ragoul plague that bolsters characters up so you dont have to be level to do it, however the group heroic quest does not so finding a lower level team to do it can be difficult. Since they dont' do the plague very often it may not come up this year again.

Update: Rimo Astra (Jedi Sentinel) has advanced from ultra-noob to noob status. smile He is now level 12 and fighting the Black Sun on Coruscant. Next stop, getting my ship.

I haven't done the first flashpoint yet. I just re-read your advice Guybrush. I think I will try a flashpoint next.

So you just took the shuttle off the fleet than.

You've got into it just as they're going to change things. Shadow of Raven is going to replace the skill tree with a different system called Disciplines. And like WOW, you will not have to buy new skills, you'll just get them automatically as you level.

I just learned something about strongholds, from reading official forums. When you complete chapter 3 goto Legacy: Locations: General: Chapter 3. Click on character class and right click on the decoration to unlock a sign for Strongholds. You can click on it multiple times to add multiple copies of the sign.

Wow, dark side female jedi actually gets a wedding ceremony if she marries "Doc". Other characters and companions just say they're married no ceremony.

When you level you still have to get new skills from a trainer but the skills now cost 0 credits.

Misuteri, light side imperial agent operative, reached level 55.

Fastest way to do that with 12X class quest experience is to do Mekab once you've reached level 50. Only the main Mekab planet quests are needed, no side quests. Even though the main quests show in quest log under Mekab rather than class they count as class. The side quests do not and don't get the bonus experience. 3 quests took Misuteri from level 53 to 55.

Raghoul plague is on. Its on Corellia this time. Psyco had to go there anyway for class quests.

Turns out the writers did recognize that some races should not be genetically compatible. When my female twi'lek jedi consular/sage married her male human companion, he talked about adopting children. Same when my human female trooper/commando married her male cathar companion.

Got two more characters to level 55 doing first two quests on Makeb. Pysco went from 43 to 50 doing class quests on 2 planets and to 51 doing plague (no bonus xp for the event).
