STASIS -Classic point & click adventure game played from a unique isometric view point set in a science fiction universe in 2D.

You can view the Teaser Trailer here.

View screenshots here.

You can see more screens and info on the Kickstarter Page here.

You can access the Official Website here.

Quote:
WHAT IS STASIS?
John Maracheck, traveling in stasis to a better life with his wife and daughter. Disoriented, drowsy and in pain, John opens his eyes. He is alone. What the hell is going on?
Stasis is an indie, 2D 'point and click' adventure game created by the one man army, Chris Bischoff. Richly detailed isomeric graphics create an immersive story and environment to explore. At it's core, Stasis is a story about an ordinary man in an extraordinary situation.
How far would you go to save your family?

Happy Gaming!

Thanks Ana. Looks like isolation on a spacecraft. Lonely, cold and eerie environment!

I found this intriguing, but the character was so tiny and the rooms so dark, that I had no idea what he was doing or why. I love the fact that it is sci fi. (I liked the 'Alien' style opening sequence), I just wish the screens were lighter and the character larger.

I feel very generous today, it is the third Kickstarter project I have backed. I will be eating lots of sandwiches in December (of all months!).

I am downloading the Alpha game now. I know, I should have played it before pledging, but hey, in the end I pledge to help the indie community, and the final adventure will likely be far superior to the Alpha version.

Interesting, they are using an engine called Visionaire Studio, the very same one Daedalic has used to create all their games including Deponia and A New Beginning:

Rmt let me know what you think of the alpha.

Either the Alpha is extremely good and convincing, or Stasis already has some sort of cult status amongst many people.

All 3 adventures I backed up all started about the same time, but Stasis already has $51,000 after a few days.

Murder One: Mars has only a thousand and the Dead Flowers Case has $3,700.

I will play the Stasis Alpha today on my Mac and see what this is all about. There is no denying the graphics are impressive.

Anyone can play the Alpha for free, three years in the making, with what appears to be much love of the adventure genre (PC version also available):

Edit: I just finished playing the demo. I needed the walkthrough that can be found on YouTube. I agree with BubbaJake, it is dark and everything is small, not enough close ups. But this is really an interesting little Sci-if story and I really enjoyed it. It is very promising. Reminded me of J.U.L.I.A., but it is less friendly and colder. I look forward to the finished adventure, I'm pleased I am backing up Stasis on Kickstarter. For an indie game this is quite impressive.

Edit : they made it! 100,000 with 4 days to go.
