What did you enjoy before?

And by wanted, do you mean game suggestions?

welcome to GameBoomers qmuddy2.

Have you tried a few casual "adventure lite" games?

I suggest you click on the GB Annual Game Lists above and check out what we voted for in 2013. Those are the best adventure games and I'd say they are all more or less easy. Check the reviews to find out if you might be interested.

And don't pay too much attention to game positioning, all of the games in 14th position for example are excellent.

Any hard puzzle here and there is easy to solve with a walkthrough. Walkthroughs are also in the links above.

If you have not played the Longest Journey and Dreamfall, those are probably the easiest, as they are mostly story telling, like interactive films.

And yes, welcome!

The "Carol Reed" series might fit the bill.

They are murder mysteries using a simple and straightforward format.
The puzzles are not mind boggling.
And the games are all set in the beautiful country of Sweden grin

•Cold Case Summer
•Amber’s Blood
•Time Stand Still
****•East Side Story
•Black Circle:
•Blue Madonna
•Hope Springs Eternal

****[East Side Story, if I remember correctly, does have one moment where a fast reaction is required - and the game also benefits from a patch. But I think it's the only one of the series where such a moment occurs.]

These two are older games, but should be available. There were two "The Cameron Files" games (The Pharoah's Curse and The Secret of Loch Ness) which were well plotted and had lots of fairly simple puzzles. smile The hero was an older bald guy, which also made me rather happy since that description fits me.
