Hey all...finally got game installed...

Problem I am having now is I have made it to the part where Briscol is viewing the contents of Lockley's suitcase in the archives; gets Dr. Sewards number and calls his wife: when I try to read Mad Williams diary, it does not give me the prompt to go to the tailor shop, therefore no tailor shop visible on map...any ideas? was I supposed to read the diary prior to that somewhere?

I'm sorry, I haven't played but checking the walkthrough it says:

Quote:
Cloth samples: Use the second sample on the microscope. It is quality material.
In inventory, combine the 2 cloth samples. Use both cloth samples on the microscope. It is identical samples.
Tailor shop:
Check Sir William's diary and find the location of his tailor - at Wilson St.
Exit the police station and go to the tailor shop.

Have you checked the cloth samples?

Have you called Steward's number and talked to his wife?

Be sure to check-read everything in that suitcase.

I'm stuck in Briscol mode too frown

I'm at the point where he has to report everything about the cemetery to Powell. He called the first time and he was not there. I've done everything that is needed, but when I go to the office to call and report, Briscol says "Two hours is plenty of time. I can find some clues that they're fresh"

I've read MaGtRo's walkthough and I've done everything.
Can anybody help me?

Thank you in advance smile

Hi MaryKate, I haven't played this game and I'm sorry that I can't be of much help.

Having said that, there is a video walkthrough of the game that you can watch here on YouTube that might help you to determine what you may have missed. luck

Thank you very much for answering to me!

I watched that part, played it again and it still doesn't work!
Could anyone send me the saved game? It's honestly really frustrating :(

I don't have any saved games for Alter Ego; let's wait and see if someone else does. wave12

I cannot find the folder that has the saved game files. I only have one saved game - about coffin. I think that is not the one you need.

Maybe go back to a saved game way before this part. Check all items - complete all dialogues - read all documents. That might loosen the stumper.
