You can download The Fog Here.

Quote:
A cloaked figure drags road spikes across a dark highway, causing a mother to crash. When she regains consciousness, her young daughter is gone from the seat beside her. As the mother searches the adjoining woods, she comes to an abandoned house containing evidence of a mysterious tragedy that struck the family that lived there, and details about a strange fog that crept out of a nearby military base.

What macabre threads tie these seemingly unrelated events into a single, terrifying story? To find out, play The Fog, a captivating hidden object game with more than a few surprises lurking along its misty paths. As you search the corridors of an empty hospital and the decayed remnants of a demolished military base, you'll search for useful items, solve cleverly designed puzzles, and play mini-games unlike any you have encountered. When fear threatens to overcome you, and you want to turn back, remember: the answer to the mystery lies within the haze.

Captivating storyline
Mind-blowing cinematics
Challenging HOG scenes
Cleverly designed puzzles
Atmospheric locations

As always, please remember to come back and tell us what you think.

Happy Gaming,
Ana wave

Thanks Ana, didn't need to try this one for very long before I pressed the buy button. Didn't play too long but it appears to be a good one so far. Graphics, puzzles and HOs are good. ....Back to the game. yes

I was excited to see this game offered since I've been sitting on a punch card code. It looks good, but I've run into a glitch with a couple of HOS early in the game. Have seen that others are reporting the same problem on BFG forum. Hope there's a fix soon. Am anxious to continue.

Yes, there seem to be quite a few folks reporting glitches; I hope that we will see a new build soon for the game. wave

Jumped through the usual hoops and have been advised to run as administrator. Will give it a shot, but not confident this will solve the problem. Doesn't make sense that this would be necessary for just this particular game.

Sparkle, I've been reading that some folks started over with a new profile and the game cooperated with no glitches. I'm sure that's not what you want to try, though. I hope the game works for you this time. wave

I have certain developer games that I can't play no matter what. And I have had a lot of help in trying to get them to run. Sometimes, it just is. duh

I thought I'd try this game & have been able to play through to the end.

I did though encounter quite a few glitches - I had to exit & then go back into the game to be able to 'skip' the EMF monitor puzzle & there were a few hotspots not highlighted in the general environments especially in the first part of the game which I found by clicking randomly. Also in the HO screens the hand icon worked to pick up an object to be combined but no active cursor was shown for the object it needed to be combined with & the hint button only highlighted the object to be picked up (which was easy to find anyway!)

The game ended ambiguously so I'm guessing/hoping there will be a sequel. I don't normally get too involved in the story line in CGs but I was intrigued. I did wonder at the end whether the protagonist

got her own little girl back or whether her body had the soul of the other little girl who died as something about looking like a twin was mentioned earlier?

Wanted to post an update on the tech help from BFG. I uninstalled/reinstalled and followed instructions from BFG as to how to play the game as administrator. Then restarted gameplay as a new player. Seems to have worked. Thus far, I've gotten past the two HOS scenes that were problematic. Game was in "Hidden Files". In-house tech support (aka Mr. Sparkle) couldn't explain this. think
