Hi Guys.
I am playing The Omega Stone and have just exited Chichen Itza, gone up the pyramid
and trying to play The Bell Puzzle but I cannot get any sound from them.
Is there any one out there who can possibly help me with this?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi kingpin,

Try looking at the UHS hints here for this area of the game. Maybe some of these hints will help.

Let us know. wave

Hi Marian.
Thanks for your reply but I am afraid that it didn't answer my query.
As I said in my original query I've gone up the pyramid and hung the
six bells but can't get any sound or movement when I try to hit them
with the hammer.

Hi Kingpin, I thought perhaps you had missed something and that was why the bells were not making any sound or movement. If this is a glitch, let's wait and see if someone has a saved game for you that will get you past that point. wave

Just a thought - did you click or look close at the stone that has the bell number clue?
I also wonder if the end of the hammer or the cursor should be the one that needs to hit the bell.

kingpin,

Two questions:

1. Did you put the mallet (hammer) in inventory before trying to use it?

2. Before trying to play the bells, did you pan down and look close-up at the circular diagram on the base of the stand where the bells are?

Thanks to all who made the suggestions concerning the bell puzzle.
Jema. In answer to your two questions
(1) yes I did put the hammer into inventory
(2) yes I did pan down and look at the close up.
Whether it was doing these two things that got me going again, I don't know
but I have now got past that part, so thanks.
I think I was expecting to hear a sound when the bells were hit.
Cheers for now and I know where to come if I get more problems.
