I played the demo and was disappointed during the first HOP. The cursor doesn't change to a hand or gear when you are looking for an item that takes an additional action or combination. I stopped after the first HOP and may go back while time left on demo to see if my initial thoughts change. The storyline seemed very interesting.

Thanks. I just went to play and it seems to depend. For the second HOP, the cursor did change to gear but cursor doesn't turn to a hand. So some could see this as an extra challenge. I think just finishing the latest Hidden Expeditions has my expectations set pretty high.

Beacon Towers, the mansion that may have served as inspiration for the Gatsby Mansion, was demolished in 1945.

All that remains of it today is the gatehouse.

Fortunately Oheka Castle, another possible inspiration for the Gatsby Mansion, still stands. It was designed as one of the first totally fireproof residences and was restored in 1984. Mansion tours are offered to help with upkeep expense.
