I've been playing a few games on my tablet and smartphone lately; not just the usual endless run variety, but fully fledged action/rpg type games, most notably Deus Ex The Fall and Ravensword. I'm not too far in yet because of the learning curve in using the touch screen controls, but still, these games are not too shabby.

Anyone else playing something good on their Android device?

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I haven't tried any of those on my tablet, Hagatha. How do you like it so far?

Well, there is a level of frustration with the interface because the touch screen is very hard to control, but over time I'm getting better at it.

The graphics on the games I mentioned above are really quite nice, and the gameplay is similar to what we're accustomed to on PC. Ravensword is a classic RPG with an open world, and the Deux Ex offering is very similar in gameplay to Human Revolution.

All in all, good games to while away some time on the ferry. Because the controls are all touch-screen-based, I doubt I would use these two on my Smartphone, even though I have the big screen Galaxy Note II, but on my tablet they are pretty nice to play.

Oh, and apparently these are 30-40 hours+ of gameplay, so they're well worth the money, which is far less than the cost of a PC game (I think Ravensword was $7.00).
