If anyone here experienced technical problems of freezes/crashes with the game, a new build has already been released:

Quote:
I have great news! A new version of Bluebeard's Castle: Son of the Heartless is now available on the website. This update includes a fix for freezing/crashing issues in the loading screen and various other bug fixes.

This is a critical update, so should show up on the left-hand side of your Big Fish Games app under 'Updates.' If you're not seeing that, just follow the steps below:

1) Open your app and make sure you're signed into your account.
2) Click on the 'Options' COG on the top right-hand side of your screen.
3) Click on the 'Downloads' tab.
4) Select 'Manually' and click 'Check For Updates.'

I bought this one with a coupon, and have had a delightful time with it!
There wasn't much "buzz" about this game, but read on the BF web site that it was "Drawn-like". Well, being a huge Drawn fan, I had to check it out.
The graphics did remind me of Drawn...so I was hooked. This was a great little game to play, the puzzles were pretty easy, but lovely to engage with.
Wanted to pass it on.

I'm enjoying the game too, Jeanne. And I too saw some elements from the Drawn games.

ETA: Wanted to pop back in to say that I'm still playing. This is a really long game. Very nicely done and some unique features. A bargain at a standard version price.

Just wanted to add my two cents. I really enjoyed the game, the library books were my favorite part.
