I bought (physical copy - I think I'll always collect PC adventure games!) the "Adventures in Terror - British Horror Adventure Game Collector's Edition" and inside was a booklet, game DVD and a CD of Spooky Music:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adventures-In-Terror-British-Collection/dp/B002S0O76S

Anyway - Barrow Hill was fabulous! I loved it - very spooky, very scary and played smoothly without any bugs I could detect. Lots of creepy places to explore and the story was very - well different.

Has anyone else played this game? Want to share?

The collection also has The Journal and Lights Out Director's Cut.

I've heard that Light's Out Director's Cut is much improved

over the original version.

I love playing adventure games like Gemini Rue on my ipad mini and Gray Matter on my PC Netbook.

It's been 8 years since I played it but I still remember how awesome it was!

Great game -- one that I've played more than a few times. It has a wonderful atmosphere. The puzzles are fun, too. And a definite scared moment with the crow. Gets me every time. lol

It's been a long time since I played it too, but I will never forget the scene where a spider shows up. As a dedicated and absolute arachnaphobic, I nearly fell out of my chair.

It surprised me. I was looking at the game when I bought it and wondering "Barrow Hill"? Hmmmmm - I wonder if it is any good at all.....and it was a really good game. Spooky but not too much so - by far the best adventure game I've played this year so far.

I love playing adventure games like Gemini Rue on my ipad mini and Gray Matter on my PC Netbook.

You must play it late at night with no one in the house and your speakers turned up!

You are so right about that - I played this game at night with the headphones on and it was the best!

I'm so looking forward to a second play!

ipad lover, you asked about Dark Fall Lights out. I have just downloaded the "upgraded" version of this game and it is a tremendous improvement over the original Lights Out. Brilliant flashes of color overlaid with the grey, gloomy palate really enhance the game experience. I had downloaded the original from GOG so I was able to get the upgrade free. I think you will like it, especially if you have already played the original

This such good news! Well, that British Horror Collection was quite the bargain then! I'll give this a play real soon.
