Fantastic Friday ya'll

We are expecting a beautiful day. I will be heading to the park with the monkey babies in an hour or so. I've been feeding dogs and cooking books.

My newest 'home improvement': SOLAR powered security lights. I've had plug in ones all over the property for me and my tenants safety, but now they have LED solar powered lights (just as bright) for places you can't run electricity. I just installed 3 of them. One over the broken sidewalk near the Outdoorsie's water dish. It's been raised about 4 inches (the sidewalk) by a tree root and in the dark it's a real challenge. Another one just installed to shine on the door of my storage shed so I can finally read the combination lock without bringing a flashlight. It has electric inside, but the door is soooo dark. And the third is in my metal 'tool' shed. Fantastic. Bright light triggers on when I walk in, and goes off automatically when I leave. Solar power panel just sits on the roof and gathers free sunshine power. Neat. So after 36 years of trying various flashlights or little trigger on lights, I finally have a real system to make the entire place easy to hunt for things. Whew. I think each light has 60 LED's. Very very nice. Oh how I love progress!

I had a pleasant surprise at the chiropractors office. He had a masseuse come in and give me av 45 minute therapeutic massage before he did the adjustment. Wow that felt good!
Hubby and I got invited out to a German brauhaus tonight for dinner and dancing with a few other couples from my childhood. I love unexpected fun times!

afternoon everyone . just sitting here not doing much . waiting on a couple of loaves of bread to finish rising before putting in oven. 1 of them will go with us tomorrow to help celebrate(daughter thats sick) birthday. she turned 40 yesterday.and i promised her the next time i seen her i would bring her a loave of homemade bread.son is coming over in the morning to ride down with us, that means i have to ride in back seat since he is to long legged to fit.guess i can manage it for an 1 1/2 drive, that way granddaughter (heart) can ride back home with us and spend the night.granddaughter got a good report from her heart dr on wed.everything is looking good .yesterdays temps spoiled me was able to have a bunch of windows open but today is not as warm. but i will take any days that i can with no cold temps. i think this summe am going to have to get someone here to help seal my foundation better to see if that will help next winter on the mice. we live next to a field so i fight them every winter and i am sick to death of fighting them nasty creatures. my cat is worthless when it comes to being a mouser. that goodness next week is spring break and we don't have to go anywhere. well off to play and go check to see if bread is risen enough. have a great day

thanks L4L. i am so tired of fighting them during the winter time. ana i need to find me a chiropractor, to see if that will help with some relief of my lower back and left hip, but our insurance is so funny any more on paying things thats its even hard to keep going to the dr when i need to. well bread is all made and 3 of them are in the freezer along with the others that hubby made last week.
