These are all unusual representations of words, phrases or things. Can you figure them out? One posted answer per person, please.

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

That was my original answer. smile

In sports, having equal scores is being tied, so displaying the letters of "family" in an equation could be seen as "family ties".

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Pandora,

I fully understand an answer of "a family function".

I half understand your explanation that displaying the letters of "family" in an equation could be seen as "family ties" in sports when the score is equal.

But what is "a wag?" headscratch
